I have actually started logging mine on www.fitday.com. You can sign up for free and create custom foods that you can just select or select from foods they have. It is really simple and keeps you on track.

Hey guys, thanks for the response. I too like the excell spreadsheet idea Jeff. I imagine one has to get in a habit of doing it as well. I know some people, regarding the check book example, who try to remember what they wrote checks for and then wind up overdrawn and a total financial mess. It will take some new effort on my part, but should be well worth it...thanks

I'm w/ Steve. Keep a general idea in my head. Probably need to go to that as well.

Good call logging your food intake, Chris. I use an Excel spreadsheet to track everything I eat so that I can make daily adjustments. -Jeff

That should probably, well no doubt, be my next step. Itry to keep track in my head and figure I'm pretty close...but I don't really know.

I tell people it's like a check book. The end of the month comes around and you wonder where you money went. It's not until you write down everything you buy until you realize that you spent $50 on sodas and chips during the month. It's the same for what you eat, you THINK you know, until you write it all down and add it up.
