Suck’s Getting Old..LMAO

I’ve been reading some comments from members in their 30’s moaning about getting old…lmao..I ran Boston (2:50) at 33 and did a 500 mile bike ride at 40…Getting old my a$$! Getting sedate and lazy is a better term. Wait until you get 60 plus! You don’t know the meaning of aches and pains…You either "push" through it or curl up and die!..lmao..Get started now while you ARE STILL YOUNG!!

WELL SAID! Age is not an excuse to avoid the hard work of staying healthy & fit. I feel better at 47 than I did at 25, and I’m in better shape too. That’s not by accident.

A sedentary, overweight & unhealthy life……now THAT would suck. My parent went that route. Not me.

I just turned 40 and I feel aches and pains every morning but it are really think about it I did when I was 20 also. Due to my spinal cord injury I have some arthritis and bursitis and probably some other kind of sitis as well! But like you said you have to push through it and when she do you feel great at least I do!

I am thirty and appreciate what your saying………someone I won’t name was complaining that she might be too old to really make a life change……….she is 19……I wanted to tell her you barely have a life yet………

Complaining is for the weak. Good post.

I must admit that I was a little smug the other day at the gym. A guy in his 30s was hitting the weights on exercises I had planned to do too. On every lift I was moving more iron than the kid was :)

Good point! It is all relative. It always seems too hard for th eless experienced at any age I seem to be. I remember my HS Basketball coach talking while we were doing wall squats - How long can the human body endure pain, suffering, and fatigue? Exactly 5 minutes longer than you think it can…
    All in your head!
