Any stage competitors out there that haven’t tried Taraxatone, available on BB.com, it does what it says it does. I tried it to see and lost 5 lbs in 5 days with no ill effects. I knew going in it would be water loss, but wanted to see and maybe someday use it if I ever get to the stage. I went from 178 to 173 and then when I went off of it, the water weight came back just as quickly. There was no change in BF% up or down, so it was definitely water.

I’ve been reading some comments from members in their 30’s moaning about getting old…lmao..I ran Boston (2:50) at 33 and did a 500 mile bike ride at 40…Getting old my a$$! Getting sedate and lazy is a better term. Wait until you get 60 plus! You don’t know the meaning of aches and pains…You either "push" through it or curl up and die!..lmao..Get started now while you ARE STILL YOUNG!!

Water weight is amazing! My weight can vary as much as 10 lbs in 24 hours depending on my bodies hydration level. I’ve also found that plain water does not seem to be held in the body as readily as a flavored drink. ie. "gatorade, which is expensive "kool aid" will be held more readily than water due to the sugar and eletrolytes in it. Even a drink with supposedly no calories, but sweetened by an artificial additive will be retained more than plain water. Anyone else experience water weight variations?

I worked all afternoon yesterday digging a ditch the old fashion way with a shovel, pick and a wheelbarrow and my back is killing me. I can do rows, deadlifts, powercleans, and heavy squats and only be minorly sore. What gives? You think the manual labor would be a piece of cake. Not so!!..lol

As you can tell I’m fired up again to continuing to shape this body of clay. It should be a great Memorial Day weekend. It’s actually supposed to be sunny and 80 here in southern Indiana. I should be able to get in a workout or two and do some much needed cardio. I like to run on the paths in our city park around the lake. I hope everyone has a safe and productive weekend.

I’m beginning to believe there is now better way to depress myself than to view my latest "progress" pics. After two years of dedicated training and diet, I see absolutely no difference between today’s pics and two years ago. I don’t really care if I’m every ready for the stage lights, but I would like to realize a little "visual" return for my investment.
I know I’m having a "pitty party", but "It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to"..lol..sorta

I’m now at 175 and 10%! I’m exuberant! Still got more to lose, but a bit dismayed at the loose flesh that once encased my excess fat storage, especially around my middle. I’m wondering if at my advanced age, 61, if I have lost the elasticity and I am doomed to be a rather "droopy" dude..lol…Tummy tuck?..Just kidding..lol..I’ve got enough that "droops’ already..lol. I will post some pics soon, maybe…lmao..

The other day I was in the gym and noticed a dwarf jumping up and down unsuccessfully trying to reach the chinning bar. I thought I’d help, so I asked, "What’s the matter? He looked at me scornfully and answered, "I’M NOT HAPPY!" Then I replied, "Oh, which one are you?"…..then the fight started!!!
Another time I was watching a large lady in front of the mirrors. She looked at me and commented, "My thighs are too big, I have cellulite, my waist is flabby, my breasts are too small, and my hair is a mess!" I thought I’d add something positive to the conversation, so I said, "Look on the bright side. Your vision is perfect!"…then the fight started!!!
