I'm with you Mike. I wouldn't mind adding 5-10 lbs of muscle, but I REALLY don't want to add BF in doing it. I'd rather have a little less bulk &amp; be lean. That's my main goal, not to become a middle-aged fatboy. :D If I keep that going, and maintain good health, then anything else is gravy.

Good look getting hardbody ready for your trip to Brazil. You're an inspiration to me.

It's not about the weight... It's the stretch and the contraction.... Straps work fine in a pinch. You have to have some that will offer some resistance, but as long as you get a good stretch, followed by a good contraction you'll work the muscles just fine.I always take my straps ( four different sizes &amp; tensions ) and can get a great workout. Be positive and have fun... We're only here for a short time, enjoy every moment.

Dad,

I am glad we'll be together in the 'eating' thing. My goal is to get in all the good nutrition I'm supposed (esp. veggies), which leaves me full enough that it's harder to squeeze in the junk. Goal: Avoid skipping/substituting any meals.

I figure if I do that and that marshmallow still looks really inviting, I'll indulge but in moderation. Of course, I'm not prepping for a show in Sept. :)

I can make you carry Cameron on your back (in a pack) for the hike to the windcaves tomorrow :) or whenever. That should add a little resistance to give you a better cardio workout (and then I won't have to carry him :).

See you today! I'm bringing my cooler of cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. too.

I'm glad someone else eats combinations like that. Now I don't feel so weird!!..lol What I don't understand is why some people seem offended because we won't indulge in the fat ladened menu that theyconsume...I'm not offended by what they eat. I just choose not to eat it..

I have seen many reports and pictures of the tour thus far. I tried to pick you out, but there are so many of you singing Mormons that I wasn't sure which one you were.

Hey OMS! Keep up the good work on the road. If it makes you feel better, I ate well all week, and most of today, but we took our oldest son out for pizza and pasta. I had a salad, 1.5 pieces of pizza, and half a bowl of past, but... I did 20 minutes of cardio plus chest routine. Hopefully that helped.

My wife and I are trying counting calories. I am on a 2250 calorie diet. I have lost 4 pounds this last week. I got to hand it to you, for being Mormon you set a good example on healthy living. It's a lot more than just staying away from bad things.
