A Creature of Habit?
From 2001 to 2008 I was doing weights M,W,F with cardio T,Th,S. That got me fit and healthy. Then I decided I wanted to do a competition. A trainer got me doing a 6-day program, one muscle group a day. Any cardio I did was as a second workout in the evening. I’ve been doing that since the first of 2008. Now the daily weight workout is a habit and I like it. I love being in the gym pumping the iron every morning. But I’m wondering if I’d get just as much from the old 3-day split, or maybe a 4-day plan. My goal is to stay in single digit body fat and to maintain my current muscle mass, although I wouldn’t object to gradually adding some lean muscle
