BIG rough patch

I don’t know where to start off, but I have been not hitting the gym or eating right.  I’m having a lot of thoughts going through my head, like going back to college, move out west or to florida(I live in Jersey now, hate it!!), get a better job, etc.  I guess you can say I’m not happy with my current situation, and I want to make a change not physically, but emotionally and socially as well.  I’ll be 29 soon(in December), should I go back to college, move out of jersey??  I know I have to hit the gym and get my eating habits down first, that’s what this is all about here, but I’m looking for some more advice here.  What would you do??

I’m about to go to bed, but can’t not reply. Short though, but I’m sure you’ll get lots of other replies! Do you have a gym membership and have you worked out before? What about your knowledge of eating healthy? Sounds like you are ready to totally transform your life! Congrats, and keep in touch with people here, because you’ll be able to reach your goals with the support you find :)

I do have a gym membership, have worked out, but havent worked out in over a month! I can honestly say I was "preoccupied" with all the other stuff going through my brain. I need to get a plan, figure out what to do, and buckle up. Oh, and thank you for your kind and encouraging words :)

Just got to read your blog, boy you dont want to do things by half!. For me maybe sort out your priorities. If you want to move woudnt it be better to hit a new city cut and buffed or at least ontrack? A new city lots of distractions new things to see and do it would be easy to drop the fitness. College, a good move but again after the first settling and geting into study then the parties and rush to get work done easy to drop the fitness.
I guess what I am saying is it would be in your best interest to have the diet under control and be able to adapt it to changes easily, if the diet is second nature then distractions wont hurt. Also if you are working out it becomes a drug, you need more and love the feel, get it down first then set the next step - maybe college start a new life with a new body, degree and city.
    Hope this helps,

Start making decisions then following those decisions up with actions. Things will fall into place… life is very weird that way. Don’t make the mistake of thinking everything will happen as fast as you want or when you want. Just do the right thing day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. That is the way to success no matter what you do!
