“I Disappear”

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

Millions of test messages!

For June 28, 2007

Well, Ive shocked myself.  I look good, and I fit a size 1!  Worked legs today and felt I didnt do enough, so I did another few sets of power squats and raised the weight a bit.  Now I feel good about my workout!  I can feel my ass and my quads! :) I made a lot of progress in the last week and am excited to have my body comp. test done in about two weeks.  Wish me luck!
I’m still having trouble with this Bodyblog.  It never seems to work when I want it to, but Im a fighter.

Song for today: Metallica’s "I Disappear"

"Hey, hey, hey
Here I go now
Here I go in to new days
Hey, hey, hey
Here I go now
Here I go into new days
I’m pain, I’m hope, I’m suffer
Yeah, hey, hey, hey, yeah
Here I go into new days"

I went for a long bike ride this morning and a nice jog tonight.  I’m exhausted and feeling great!  I’m really shooting for that 12%!!  Keep an eye out for new picture postings soon!

Thank you all.. especially those helping to get this blog working!

June 29th:  My horoscope: "Today, monumental goals suddenly feel more attainable than ever! You are so close you can nearly taste it, and your ambition is telling you to throw caution to the wind and just go for it! Welcome any disruptions to your routine with open arms — because they are going to bring you fresh ideas, new adventures, and funny people that will invigorate you and take you that last mile. This is the beginning of a new phase for you, in which your outlook is going to be much more positive."

Did a shoulder workout late this morning.  I sure felt it while I was at work today.  No shame though; I’ve got progress to make!

This is more or less just a test post.. like the last few.. Well frustrated.  Lots of love!

I’m thoroughly ecstatic about my progress! Haven’t had any trouble with my discipline …eating or exercising. Did feel some slight pain in my brachialis muscle a couple days ago, but I took yesterday off and will attempt my full arm routine tomorrow. (Lowering the weight made no difference in the pain, so I’ll assume I really tore some fibers.) I’ve become more dedicated in the last couple weeks and have added many different exercises to challenge me throughout the week. Began doing more cardio in the morning and some nights. Planning on getting another body comp. test done around July 13th, a month from the last one.

Suggested Reading… Probably my favorite book… for motivation and staying on track of goals.. Title: You Play to Win the Game by: Herm Edwards (former NY Jets coach [2001-2005] and current KC Chiefs coach)

Excerpt for today:

“If you focus on the process–how to get it done–rather than on the result, you always win. Winning matters, I won’t lie, but you can’t predict whether you’re going to win or not. What you can do, though, is respect the road you must travel that is most likely to get you that win. In football, that means practicing hard every day, enjoying the effort you expend and the way your body feels at the end of the day, and taking care of yourself off the field too, making sure that you get enough sleep, that you’re eating right, getting yourself mentally set. I tell my players all the time that if they think about doing all these things to their best ability every single day, then on game day the rest will take care of itself. It puts the pressure on the preparation instead of the end result” (Edwards 42).

Current Favorite Song: “I Tried” by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (feat. Akon)
