I have been busy, but keeping up with my diet routine…except for lastnight at work. I had a weak moment where I was starving and had to keep running (crazy day at work).  I only had yogurt and broccoli packed for lunch…and needed some protein. I ended up with beef briskit a baked potato and califlower. I ate way too much and my stomach was screaming at me because it is now used to eating clean food. Ack…stupid stupid me…I should have kept with what I was doing.

Since starting this the first week of May I have lost 11 lbs. I am happy with that. I have 9 lbs till I hit my targer weight. My legs are getting leaner as well as my waist.  My weight loss will slow down since I have lost all the water weight…now its time to get the ball rolling on all this flippin fat!

 Here is my diet plan for this week until Monday.

Meal 1:  yogurt 1 cup/oats 1/2 cup/ frozen strawberries 1/2 cup

Meal 2:  egg whites 6 lg

Meal 3:  tuna 4oz/ spinach 1 cup

Meal 4:  cottage cheese 4 oz/ pineapple 1/2 cup

Meal 5:  chicken 4oz/ broccoli 1 cup

Meal 6:  yogurt 1 cup/ soy nuts 1 oz

Meal 7:  egg whites 6 lg/ spinach 1 cup

I am hoping to weigh 138 by Monday and I wish I had someone who could do a body comp so I could truly track my fat loss.

Thursday, May 8th, 2008
1. Get up at 4am, do 45 min cardio. (met)
2. Eat all meals 2-3 hrs apart. (met)
3. Lift Chest after work (1930)…(met, speedy workout though.)
4. Get to bed by 2300…we will see
Goals for tomorrow:
1. Up at 6am, make meals for the day
2. Eat all meals 2-3 hrs apart.
3. Get to the gym @ 0830, work back and 45 min cardio.
4. Get to bed by 2300.

5/7/08 Just getting in the habit.

Writing a blog about my adherence to my daily goals is very motivating for me!  I can’t tell you how many times today I wanted to stray from my diet….but decided not to because I did not want to post that I had failed any goals.
I ate all my meals on time today and did 45 min of cardio on the treadmill (Elevated15.0, speed 3.5)
My meal plan for the week (started on 5/5/8)
Meal 1
Oats                    
 .5 cups
Strawberries          .5 cups
Meal 2
Yogurt w/ fruit        1cup
Meal 3
Tuna                    
 4oz
Bread, wheat         1 slice
Fresh spinach        1 cup
Tomato, med          .5 medium
Meal 4
Granola                 1oz
Meal 5
Banana                  1 whole
Peanut butter           .5 Tbsp
Meal 6
Brown rice               .5 Cup
Chicken                  Â
 4 oz
Broccoli                  
 1 cup
Meal 7
celery                   
 1 cup
peanut butter           .5 Tbsp
Same goals for tomorrow.
1. Get up at 4am, do 45 min cardio.
2. Eat all meals 2-3 hrs apart.
3. Lift Chest after work (1930)

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

Ok, so I know I wont be blogging every day…I do have a life, but for now I will, until I get my routine down again. I used to workout every day no matter what happened…I just need to get back into it.

So…I did well today. I didn’t get up at 4am…ended up getting up at 5am and missed my workout time, had to go to work (that goal was a miss.)

I did eat all my meals in decent time AND I avoided all the cookies, cakes, and chocolates the docs bought us for nurses week. I pat myself on the back for that one! Lord knows my weakness is cookies!(super HIT on that goal!)

After work I made it to the gym and did both legs and 45 min of cardio. It was a longer session than I wanted…but I had to do it…punishment for snoozing on the alarm for a whole hour. (so a competent HIT on this goal.)

So now it is 10pm…I am dead tired and heading to bed.

Goals for tomorrow (most the same as today):

1. Get up at 5am make all the meals for the day and pack em’ up so I can run with them if I need to.

2.  Cardio @ 9am (Off today, no weights)

3.  Eat all my meals about 3hrs appart.

4.  Get to bed by 11pm

5/5/08 Progress Report

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Ok well the whole reason I started this page was to track my progress and keep me motivated. I love the info this site provides and I plan on taking full advantage.

So, I plan on writing short and sweet reports on how my day went, if i stuck to my meal plan…and if I stuck to my routine. If I didn’t I will evaluate what got in my way and plan what I will do so it does not happen again. 

So today super Cinco de Mayo! First off I am proud to say that I turned down margaritas with the girls for 2 hours at the gym.  Good trade! I worked Bi’s and Tri’s ending with 50 min of cardio on the treadmill.

I stuck to my 7 small meals and ate them about 3 hours appart.

Goals for tomorrow:

Get up at 4am, do 45 min of cardio

Meals for tomorrow are cooked and packed…just need to eat them about 3 hrs appart.

Hit legs when I get off work at 1930.

Get to bed by 2200.

I hope to check in tomorrow and say that I kicked ass!
