It is defintely what I needed to do. Feeling full and relaxed right now with no worries of having to be in the gym. Enjoying some decent food and quite a few good pints of ale. It will change a bit when I get back home, but for now the break is what was needed.

Haven’t blogged in a while so thought I’d put some words down.
July was a very good training month. Got rid of most of my nagging injuries and was very consistent in the gym. Didn’t have a load of overtime to work, so I was able to recover a lot better during the month.
Got some vacation time coming and will let the body rest up for a couple more weeks and then hit it hard through the remainder of the year. Looking forward to a good end of the year.

What a grind it has been for the past 2 months. 75 hour work weeks took there toll. All were at night as well. Been concentrating on merely retaining muscle through 2 workouts a week, nothig that intense and a lot of supersets to maximize the time I have in the gym. Couple of nagging injuries as well and I was definitely burnt out this past week.
Around the corner I finally get out of this schedule and can return to semi-normal. Had a really good workout this morning at 3 am. all legs and starting to get heavy again. A break int he weather and I’m be well motivated to kick some butt this summer.

Well, I wanted to get more accomplished over the past 100 days as I had a countdown clock at work to help me out. Did’t exactly get things accomplished over the 100 days. I did drop a little bit of weight, down about 10 pounds. I did get more cardio sessions in, from almost none in the previous 100 days. I;ve finally recovered from a lot of nagging injuries. And I’ve regained a lot of lost strength that the injuries caused.
Going forward, I have more cardio and weight loss to go. With a heavy work schedule, my gym time will be limited and when there the training will be short and intense.

Well, got something going here. We have a countdown clock at work that is counting down days to our refueling. I’m going to change this around to my own countdown to a new me. I’m up to 265 pounds and need to do some cutting. Also been dealing with a lot of little injuries, so I’m prioritizing cardio over lifting over the next 100 days and see where it takes me.

Finally get all this done tomorrow. Turnout has been interesting so far, I heard that more peaople voted early in North Carolina than voted in total last presidential election. That’s impressive. I’ll be taking my 8 year old to vote with me tomorrow. Think that it’s good for them to see how it works.

Been a good month of UFC/MMA fights. Spike has had a special every weekend and the Ultimate Fighter weekly show has been pretty damn funny so far this year. Got a couple of real ass-clowns, but I think they get 1-2 each year.
Should be a good show tonight. Bispinghas my vote tonight.

Looks like this may be the last nice weekend of the summer, start of fall. It’s good to see the seasons change and I’m ready to ge past the summer and into some good winter training. There is a lot of advantages of being couped up as the weather gets colder and I about ready to drop some weight and hit a little more cardio to get my weight falling. Pretty close to 260 now, with great deal more muscle, but also some fat I need to get rid of. Great time of year to do so.

Have to say that my training has been progressing well over the past 3 weeks or so. Been moving a good amount of weight, haven’t had any tweaks to talk about and body composition is improving. I do have to thank MuscleTech for some of this as I gone through nearly a bottle of their NanoVapor and can say that it has helped compared to my normal regiment of living.

Looks like I’ll have a couple of things to watch as I do some cardio in front of th etube this fall. Fringe is interesting, new Survivor, Heroes, and then there is the new season of Dexter on Showtime. Good things in front of me.
