Getting Volunteered
Ok, I am writing this post cause this is something I find a bit annoying.
I am a supervisor where I work, I am not the only one though, there are four of us. And I am not the Lead supervisor, Just second in command you might say. This is a large place and we have a high turn over rate due to temporary employees.
Now when our lead supervisor has to let go (fire) another male employee, guess who gets volunteered into going in the office with him when he fires this guy……yep..me.
Now I am not floating my own boat here, but I probably am the most muscular guy on my shift. But that does’nt mean I want to go and beat some guys ass cause he is freakin out over getting fired. Nor do I want to go to jail for it either.
So I say to the lead supervisor.."Ya know..there are two other supervisors that can help you fire these guys."
And he says.."Yeah, but if they see you, maybe they wont get violent"
So I say.." Maybe, but if they do, you are paying my bail"
He says he will, hopefully we wont have to see.

I can see where that would bug you! I’ve been in a supervisory position and have had to fire people and I hated it. Is the lead supervisor kind of a dick when he lets people go??? Is that why he thinks they might kick his ass?? Just wondering…..if he is maybe he needs an ass kicking and perhaps you can then ascend to the lead position!!! LOL!
