P90X

Lately I’ve been trying to figure out what direction I want to go with this work out thing. I want to change my life, the way I do things as a whole. I see women on here old enough to be my MOTHER in wayyyyyy better shape than I ever was. Shoot, if they can do it…I better be able to do it. The better shape you’re in the longer you live - PERIOD! I don’t want to be in a nursing home. I want to be 75-80 doing some type of water sport with some country club members. HAHA For real though. It’s all possible. Anything is possible. Because GOD said so. So with that being said..

I ordered P90X. I’m waiting for it to come in the mail. I see this old dude on the infomercial. 50 years old, busting out the work outs. I need to get like him. Today I went to target and bought two 15lb dumbbells. I got some Whey protein & Creatine Mono from RiteAid (haha would’nt u believe it). I felt good, I felt like I was making huge step to bettering ME. People always tell you when you have a baby; Make sure you do something for yourself, take care of you too. So, so that’s what I’m going to do. In the mean time between time I’m going to do some exercises on my one. Maybe 1 arm row here, a shoulder press there! I’m playing the waiting game now!

Unmotivated — WHY!!

When I FIRST started thinking about working out, it was way before I had my weight loss surgery. I got the gym membership, i’m all hype like ‘okay, i’m going to lose this weight’ and HA! I owe the gym money now. But when I did go, all I did was cardio and suspected that was the answer to my problems.

Who would’ve known that I would stumble upon this website bb.com and get all of this information and now I THINK I know what it takes to see actual results. But I still haven’t done anything about it. I see the progress pictures of other people and I’m like damn what are they doing that I’m not?? But they just put in the time and effort. There is no magic pill. Just got to get in there, know what you’re doing and do it! But I’ve still haven’t done anything. I just had a baby 2.5 months ago. I start back work in May. My funds are low and all my money has to go to my little girl. So it the mean time I was working on a proper realistic diet that I can follow. Whole grains. Skim milk, fruits, veggies. Etc etc. I don’t eat red meat. I just don’t. So chicken & turkey is my thing. I still don’t get in enough protein.

ANYWHO. I was thinking about cleaning out my system and doing this lemonade diet for like 7 days. Just to cleanse and be refreshed and start over the right way. I also was thinking about starting this p90x program. I’ve seen some good results on here.

I want to set an POSITIVE example for my daughter. If she sees that mommy loves herself it will only help her self esteem. So I’m going to blog again when I’m in the middle of my diet.
