I’m Baaaccckkkk (and re-motivated)
OMG, it feels like it’s been forever.
I should probably be ashamed that I did not keep on track with my fitness goals, but surprisingly, I’m not. Sure I wish I was where I’d hoped I be by now, but I allowed my life to side track me from my fitness goals. What’s done is done.
What I prefer to focus on is the fact my measurements are still the same and my weight has only fluctuated a couple pounds. That tells me I was doing it right, even when I wasn’t focused.
So now I’m back and re-motivated. I think I’ve figured out how to balance FT school, PT work, single motherhood, volunteering, extra curricular activities and a workout schedule, lol. Honestly, with my schedule, it’s a wonder I’m even over weight!!
About 3 weeks ago, I started at the gym again. I’m just doing cardio for now, but I’m going to work in weights again really soon. I found my results were more noticeable and rapid with a good weight routine added in.
So, the goals I added in January still remain the same. Apparently I have to loose 0.69lbs a day to achieve them though. Will I do it? Well, anything’s possible, but more importantly, whether I hit my goal or not, the main thing is I will be a lot closer than if I were doing nothing at all.
