Made up for Friday
So on Friday we took a surprise weekend trip to Toronto. It got in the way of legs day. Vowed I would make up for it. Today I hit legs. Saquats, Lunges, Romanian Deadlifts, and a ton of calf raises, then biked home. It was good. I used a stupid Smith machine- I hate those- for my squats. Went from 135 to 225, sets of 8, ass to the ground. I was worried a litle bit, cos im not used to squatting with the machine. Eventually found my form and did good ones. I’m proud because i did it, even though I’d naturally skip it. You know my body hates what I’m doing to it?! the whole working out thing. I noticed i subconciously cheat when counting my reps. So I’ll count th negative as 1, and the actual lift as 2, by the time i count to 10, ive only actually done 5 reps! Ive taken note of that and become very careful counting. And if i realise that I MAY have been cheating, I just do more reps
