So it’s been a long time since i wrote in this thing. A lot of **** has happened since August 10th. School’s started, and footballs started and ended. Its been so busy, Im jus starting to work out now. First week back in the weight room was sick. Sore for a long time though
Life’s a bitch thoug, I’m just finding that one thing or another is weighing down on my mind. Big thing this year is the current Drivetest strike. Because of it, I (along with 300 000+ other Ontarians) can’t get our drivers license, so getting around in my ever increasingly busy life is tough on my entire fam. School’s been rough with all the stuff I’m in. First semester turned out a little bit better than I expected though, all things granted. I’m getting ready for another tough week, with workouts, tests etc. I’m also praying that this strike will end soon…it means so much more to me than just a license. It means I’m that much closer to being my own man. The strike also represents everything thats going wrong this year with my friends, and school etc. On the idea of independence and licensing, It would defs help my love life to have a license. I’d be a lil more confident and plus I don’t really want my folks involved in the whole thing, without the license they gotta accompany me everywhere. BTW, I went on a date with this girl a while back, thought she was great. One prob, she drives I dont. Now I’m a laid back liberal 21st century kinda guy, but man..I felt so bitch in the passenger seat! While she drove, all these ideas of disney movies ran through my mind, but with The Beautiful Princess drving Prince Charming’s ass all over the place! (not that Im Charming or anything xD) but still i felt like a bitch! Point is I really want this strike to be over so i can get around. I want my life to get better real quick.
Workout tomoro, Legs….getting protein ready tonight.

So on Friday we took a surprise weekend trip to Toronto. It got in the way of legs day. Vowed I would make up for it. Today I hit legs. Saquats, Lunges, Romanian Deadlifts, and a ton of calf raises, then biked home. It was good. I used a stupid Smith machine- I hate those- for my squats. Went from 135 to 225, sets of 8, ass to the ground. I was worried a litle bit, cos im not used to squatting with the machine. Eventually found my form and did good ones. I’m proud because i did it, even though I’d naturally skip it. You know my body hates what I’m doing to it?! the whole working out thing. I noticed i subconciously cheat when counting my reps. So I’ll count th negative as 1, and the actual lift as 2, by the time i count to 10, ive only actually done 5 reps! Ive taken note of that and become very careful counting. And if i realise that I MAY have been cheating, I just do more reps .

So the last two weeks have been pretty solid as far as training goes. I’ve been getting in the work, and challenging myself to work harder than I’ve been the last few months. I truly believe I’m taking the right steps to get where I want. The problem is patience. I hate the wait. I know im bustin’ ass (that’s my new saying) but I feel like it’s taking too long. Of course, it’s only been two solid weeks. It’s probably a lack of patience that’s been my issues this year. When I’m working, i feel like the results should come fast, I tend to forget that good things take time. I’m slowly beginning to convince myself that the results will EVENTUALLY come. Still…….I can’t help but wish I’d see the results after 1 workout
No matter, I’m now Bustin’ ass and doin’ the work! Updates on progress are coming! I’m reach my goals, and y’all are gonna be so proud of me!! I’ll be pretty damn proud of me too!

just got myself a bucket of Quickmass today
biked a total of 21 km, 10.5 there, and back.Legs and upper body were sore, so i kept out the weight room, and biked. Wierd remedy . Getting ready for football this season. This should be a good season. Senior year, football, student body Co-President.

Today I was just dicking around my house and decided to do a pushup. Not jus any old pushup though, a One armed pushup! So I dropped down to the ground, and placed one hand on the ground, and held myself on that hand. I placed the other hand on my back……….the point is i did a one hand pushup!!!

this stuff is hard, i’m not talking pushups, crunches and butt lifts or whatever they’re called
i’m talking front/ back levers, handstand pushups etc. Since i can’t yet do a lot of the extreme stuff, i’m working at it. Ive been doing "half handstand pushups", upper body straight down, and legs on a chair or something. They’re hard. I’m gonna make this work. You look like a retard doing this stuff in the wieght room, but I’mma make it happen.
Coaches are lookin at me as a starting safety for next year, an i’m excited. I’m training like Herchell Walker, and i pray it’ll pay off.

So I’m gettin in a quick workout, in the school weight room, and i notice three cute girls walking by, automatically I feel an energy boost, and timed my set of pullups perfectly. So I’m goin thru my set of pullups (timed perfectly as they walk by) and they look in. They’re rather (i mean extremely ) fascinated. Next thing I know, they’re making call me gestures at me…. ME! I’m like "oh buddy good job!"
It gets better, the three write down their numbers on a sheet of paper for me, so now I’ve got the numbers of three cute girls (gr. 9 i think, but I’m 16 so fair game ) all with little effort on my part (aside from the years of working out )
but you know what sucks… I have no phone to call them with!! Ahh, I need a Phone!
Thank God, for workin out, imma go downstairs and get jacked!

HOLY CRAP I JUST DID THE "HALF HUMAN FLAG"!!!
I was downstairs doin a quick bodyweight circuit workout. On the wayto ths stairs, there’s a metal pole from the ground to the ceiling. I just thought what the hell, give it a shot. So I put my arm around the pole and pushed with my other hand, raised my legs and held them there!!!!
I’m getting stronger!
