September 6, 2007Hi…..so I just thought I’d post kind of what my workouts are all about!! I am currently on a plan designed by Cathy Savage and I basically do full-body weight training with varying sets and reps 3 times a week. Cardio is usually 4 times a week for half an hour, but if I am REALLY bored then I will do more. I have a diet that I try to follow and it has a set amount of protein, fat, and carbs (I try to rotate my carbs a bit). I didn’t follow it very closely over the summer months and I drank way to much! Apparantly alcohol just kills your metabolism :( I think starting on September 17 I am going to start the "12 weeks out plan" (like the protocol Cathy gives the girls doing figure competitions), just to get myself remotivated and try to get in a shape for a holiday that I am really really hoping to go on in December (Hawaii!!!). I usually have no problems getting to the gym, but I struggle with the diet (although I have gotton a million times better in the last 6-7 months)…..so for now I’m just trying to keep it clean, avoid alcohol, and be really consistent with my workouts
Tho I’m always open to opinions and advice!!!!!
