Slacking :(
I was kicking butt on a Flex program to get ripped by summer, but I’m not on the right track anymore. The plan had me in the gym 6 days a week on a 3 day split, and doing 4 days HIIT, plus calories around 1650. I don’t have time with my husband’s new job to be in the gym that much, and I quit tracking calories. I need to get motivated and at least track the calories. I’m also still going to the gym, but now it’s more like 4-5 days. This week I have been sick with a sore throat, so I’m taking it easy. I got a Wii Fit for my b-day, and have been using it for at least 30 minutes a day, plus my treadmill. Tonight I might hit the weights too for hamstrings, and back.
Today I ran for 30 minutes. I’ll probably get on the Wii Fit here soon and do Yoga, hula hoop, and some balance games. I’m loving my Wii Fit, but I know I can’t use it in place of the gym.. too bad because I have a ton of fun on it. The hula hoop is a nice cardio feature, plus I bet it can do wonders for my midsection.
I’m getting so bored with food! I’m sick of chicken breast and steak all of the time, and need to get creative. The hard thing for me is being creative and healthy with food. I would it more fish, but the only way I like it is breaded, fried, and covered in tarter sauce ;(
