SUMMER TRAINING
School is finally over, well technically not untill tuesday but I finished all my exams by friday so I am done with my sophmore year. This week my older couzin is coming down. he's 19 but we get along like there is no age differencece. we go and live w. my grandparents at their water front beach house in wickford (15 mins from my house) and during the summer I switch gyms. I normally train at golds gym in east greenwhich my now I will be trainning at the YMCA. this has its pro's and cons. the down side is that it doesnt have asmuch to offer. expecially for legs. its mroe back to the basics, but on the plus side, its a change of enviroment. a brake from the boring rubber weights and on to that classic clanking of the metal on metal that I truly love. either way I am pumped. As u guys might have noticed, I've taken off alot of my old vids and put up new ones. I got a new camera w.MUCH better quallity, and have been purposely filming in black and white to kind of get that animal effect. that is another thing about the Y, its more layed back so I can get away w. filming in it so I will hopefully get some trainning and posing videos IN the gym! I have yet to put up a new posing video but the old ones were not giving me the credit that was due becaue my physique has improved ALOT since then. but I'll get on up soon once I get tanner.
As for my trainning it has been more intense than ever, I have really been working on bringing my leg size and detail up. that last few workouts have been insanely intense, I have been doing squats EXTRA deep just before my rear hits my ankles, and I have been making sure the bar jujst barely clicks the safety bars. I do this for 20 reps, and aboutn 3 sets, this is considering I am not accustom to that many reps and expecially that deep. I have also been doing alot more hack squatting as well. my arms are comming along good I am over 14 inches now, juust recently they were only 13, and when I first started about a year and 4 months ago they were only 11.5 inches. so thats almost a good 3 inches in little over a year. I have been going by the modo: intesity builds emensity, and remembering that its not what the scales sais its what the mirror tells you. I am phyched to start cutting in august and also before I start dieting I will be wearing hoodies from time to time during training. I have put on a few update pics, PLEASE leave some feed back comments on them. that'd be great. I will keep u all updated on my way to the 2007 Gate City Championships.
