Power 90 Xtreme Revamp
Day 8 of 90
Week two just began, Chest & Back day. Was great I finished before Mikey but I did proper form all the way through. Sure fewer reps but hey, why half ass something just to get more reps right?

Power 90 Xtreme Revamp
Day 6 of 90
I missed this post yesterday, we did Kenpo. It was awesome, did 110% during the workouts and felt great. Nothing else really to say besides the fact I felt great doing it.

Power 90 Xtreme Revamp
Day 5 of 90
So today was Legs and Back, crazy day. Didn’t do weights, just bodyweight exercises. Killed but it felt good. I did it after Mikey left because he had a guy come in to do his flooring at his house. So we just did Ab Ripper X then we said to do Legs and Back at home after work. But I did it a little while ago so…yeah.
All I have to say besides…
Never Quit,
Stay Fit.

Power 90 Xtreme Revamp
Day 3 of 90
So today was Back and Arms for P90X. It was great I skimmed through it. It took Mikey a bit longer and I had to stop every once in a while to show him how to do the exercises and proper form. But that was fine, it annoyed me a little to tell you the truth haha.
I am going up and down in weight between one to two pounds every day. It doesn’t bother me, never trust the scale at all. Trust progress pictures, and let me tell you in a month I am hoping to see those love handles down a bit. I would be ecstatic.

Power 90 Xtreme Revamp
Day 2 of 90
So today was the second day of the revamped P90X routine that me and my partner Mikey are doing. It was Plyometrics X, basically football/baseball/soccor/basketball calestetics on steroids I guess.
We did have to stop a few times to take a breather and finish strong. Which we both did. Why finish half ass? So we did take our breaks but we finished with proper form and finished the workout routine.
I did make a bit larger of a breakfast this morning, which helped so much with my energy level. Didn’t get completely winded or like dizzy or anything so that was a step up.
This is all I really have to say about this day besides the fact that in a few hours I will be doing three sets of 40 yard sprints and in between those sets I’ll be doing a run around the block (about a half mile) so it is a start.
Never Quit,
Stay Fit.

Power 90 Xtreme Revamp
Day 1 of 90
So this was the first day of P90XR, the R added is just my Revamped version of P90X. It’s just a bit more cardiovascular activity added into the afternoon which will help me a little more. it’s not too much cardio that will burn me out but I just want better results. Plus I have a partner for this program which is keeping me more motivated, plus partnering up in exercising is always fun. Friendly competition is great.
Day one is chest and back on the dvd, this day I haven’t done for a while (two months since first try of P90X). So it took me and Mikey (partner in this program) a pre-P90XR week to get used to the exercise routines so we knew what to do and got used to proper form. this was a great idea because it helped a lot. Now all we have to do is keep moving forward!
We had to take a 10 minute break to fill water and just stop for a bit because we were doing as much as the trainers if not more in some areas. And setting goals is our number one priority, well besides finishing the program correctly of course. But I am eating a good diet, Mikey is having a bit of trouble but is doing fine. Cutting down on junk food takes a bit of time if you want to forget out it and not want to crave it a few weeks or even days in. So I told him about cutting a few bads things out of your diet weekly so you get used to new and better foods
But yeah, this is all I am blogging right now besides I am going to be creating a weekly video of the progress, there will be photos doing day one to day seven for example, then real time unflexed/flexed video added in with commentary about the system so far. I have a lot of work to do with my back so no laughing please.
As always;
Never Quit,
Stay Fit.

So as the title says I revamped my P90X schedule to fit what I need to lose those pesky pounds of fat and gain some lean muscle mass. I got my friend Mikey from work to join me, he has wanted to lose some serious weight too so I told him to come over my house every morning to do this with me.
This morning we started at 9:00 AM give or take a few minutes to set up, kind of late in the morning but good enough to get breakfast down and ready to burn some serious calories. It was good, we finished and are doing Ab Ripper X later tonight so it isn’t being thrown at us all at once. I set him up with an eating schedule and figured out some stuff for him to eat at work. He did pretty good for his first day of Shoulders and Arms. We both did, I threw up because mixed some supplements together too soon and it wasn’t a good mixture of drinking one then another within minutes of each other.
This week is a 6 day set up routine when we get our bodies used to it. Then we go all out starting Monday, September 15, 2008.
This revamp was a great decision to make, but also a bad one. Didn’t do much working out at all for almost 3 whole months. Did a decent amount of cardio from playing paintball and such. Winning games in paintball is good, no working out is bad. Win/Loss right there.
Well until next time bodyspacers!

Stay Fit.

So I have decided to start over from scratch on P90X, one because I had a few days that I was 100% on the diet and had to rely on slow digesting foods such as oatmeal for example and that’s not a good in my opinion. And two; I will know what to do, buy, and I want to add more cardio to my routine, such as. I wake up and run for and hour. Something like that, plus I will have a better timed progress picture.
I will be starting over on this coming Monday, pictures, weigh-in, measurements in the morning. And I will go on from there.

Went quite well, ate like I was supposed to. Finished the workouts in my room, would have been better if I had did them in the weight room, more space to jump around and such. But hey I did it so its all good.
Can’t believe it’s the half way point to the first month of P90X.
