Still not getting my workouts in the darn workout tracker. Don’t exactly know why … I’m just not that into right now. But what is more important, I get my workouts done … and I’m loving it! Usually I’m not that big on going to the gym during the summer. Mostly because it’s too hot and I’m too much of an outdoor critter to really enjoy spending time inside a gym. But this year it’s different. Maybe it’s the BodySpace bug that has gotten to me!?
I’ve switched my training style to a 3-split system using some of the DC principles but not religiously. My body is responding well to the new groove of things. However, I do feel that I need to take a small break from the gym pretty soon. I’m VERY tired at night even though I get my full 8-9 hours of sleep. Next week I’m taking a week off from the gym to recharge the batteries.
I’ve gotten some "new" DVD’s as well. I got the brand new vid from Mitsuru Okabe starring David Henry. He’s really into the DC training style, so I’m pretty excited about that one. Then I got 2 more vids with Lee Priest, my old hero. The vids are pretty old - it’s "The Blond Myth" and "Another Blond Myth" .. love the titles! It must have taken them years to come up with material like that! My collection of BB vids is getting bigger each month. I even got a special offer from Mitsuru, where I get one vid for free. Some people raise children and help the world keep spinning - I buy BB vids! LOL
