Well, here I go again… Abandoning all my good fellahs and fly girls here on BodySpace.
It’s been a crazy week this past week. Like I wrote a couple of months ago, I just got in to management at my job and now I’ve tried just about all in my new position. The first month and a half was just about getting comfortable with everybody going from being a colleague and just one of the guys to all of a sudden being the boss. That’s a transition where you have to tread carefully, but I made it good and I made it snappy pappy But then a couple of weeks ago, we had to realize that we didn’t make enough dough … we had to let someone go. So last Wednesday I had to give two of my employees the boot. Even though there was no question who I’d have to pick, it’s not funny taking someone’s job away from them. Both of them girl and both of them started crying. Me no liky!
Workouts are going great. I’m not putting them in my workout tracker because of time and because I’m not out to set any new records at the moment. I’m training fairly "heavy" but I’m going more for the feeling rather than PR’s right now.
BTW what is heavy? What might be heavy for me is probably not heavy for you and vice versa. Is heavy 5 reps or 12 reps? It all depends… For me heavy is going for less that 15 reps and with a close to 100 % intensity. So I’d much rather talk intensity in workouts rather than light/heavy. I think intensity is the key…
I’ve always thought that only retards could hurt themselves doing leg presses - well people, I’m a retard! LOL I don’t know how I did it, but somehow I managed to strain my big toe while doing leg presses yesterday, and I only felt it after my set was done and I had to stand up.
That’s it for me today. I’ll be trying to make my rounds today and see how y’all are doing
Be easy everybody and have a nice Sunday.

Motivation is a topic that is often discussed in many Blogs here on BodySpace. The answers are many but almost anybody in here can relate in one way or another to each motivating factor.
One thing that is very important to me, is to have something visual in front of me - like magazines or bodybuilding vids. Here I find something very visual that reminds me WHY I like to train and what I’m striving for.
There are so many great bodybuilders out there, and I have huge respect for them all. No matter how much juice a guy had to inject into his butt, it took him blood, sweat and tears to reach the physique that got his name out there!
Now, in my last Blog I made some of the girls drewl all over their keyboards when I showed them a picture of Lee Priest. Lee is a pretty short guy, but man is he built! Huge arms, legs, shoulders and back. He is a true giant killer!

Some days ago, I also mentioned one of my other heroes, one which the BodyAuditor is very fond of too - the mighty (but short) Dexter Jackson. Now, it’s not that I have some weird fetish for short guys, but they do have the advantage that they’re able to develop huge mass on a small frame without getting a huge gut to go like so many of the much larger fellahs of the game.

Recently I got a new idol - a guy that hasn’t hit the Olympia stage but has an awesome body! He’s an Aussie and his name is David Rylah. Whenever I find myself thinking “Why do I even bather?” I only need to take a glance at one of his pics, and before you know it I’ve got the gym bag packed and ready to go!

Maybe this is old news and I may be a slow semi-retarded geek, but who friggin’ cares… Lee Priest is back in the IFBB!!! I’m a huge fan of the Priest … I think his physique is awesome. I know that his chest is lagging compared to other body parts, but he sure knows how to get the best out of his freakish genetic pool!

On another note - I had to write to MD (Muscular Development) today because in the beginning of last month I paid for a year’s subscription and I still haven’t received anything yet. If they don’t make things happen pretty soon, I’ll have to unleash the mighty tag team of Ninjabill and Daretosoar - or better know as “The BodySpace Bouncers” LOL
I hope you’re all doing great and are punishing the iron!

How’s everybody doing this fine weekend? Good I hope
I missed my workout the past two days because I had to leave town with my work - the annual summer bash where everybody gets together. It was loads of fun, but man did I realize that my lifestyle is way different from all of my colleagues (none who work out on a regular basis). And I’m not talking about lifting iron here - it’s F-O-O-D that sets us apart! How do they even survive on a 3-meal diet? Thank God, I remembered to bring along protein bars and a couple of shakes.
Summertime has hit Denmark HARD this year. The past 3 weeks has been nothing but burning sun and a clear blue sky. As a result the water is already nice and warm, so the beaches have been visited on a regular basis - today was no different
I had a great workout this morning (felt extra good because of the 2 days I’ve been gone), and tomorrow my quads and hams will have a score to settle with the barbells and machines!
You people be good

Okay, the last time I Blogged I was crying over not getting enough gym-time into my schedule, but now the band is playing a different tune I don’t know why exactly, but I’m so friggin’ psyched up about training these days!
I think it’s a combo of a lot of things: summer’s here and everybody wants to look their best in the summertime and on the beach, I’m reading a lot of BB mags and books and watching some new movies as well (just got the new Dexter Jackson "2K7" last week), the great product Cell-Tech is starting to become its money’s worth, and of course last but not least I get so hugely motivated by some of the very great people I’ve met in here who are kicking their butts each and every day be it in the gym or running down the streets. No matter what the cause I’m lovin’ it! (and not like Mickey D’s cause I’m a King-man lol).
So this fire I got inside me these days is giving me great workouts. But that’s not enough - I want to become a little more fit as well, but instead of going on a kamikaze diet, I’m gonna up my cardio doing 30 minutes in the morning and 30 in the evening starting today. Then I’ll monitor the progress and see where it takes me.

Yesterday morning I drove my car to the mechanic - just for a routine check-up. Didn’t expect much but tightening a few loose bolts or something like that. I had it all figured out - drive back to the mechanic after work with one of my colleagues and then directly to the gym. Did it go anything like that? No Siree!
The mechanic called me up at work saying that I had to get a new set of breaks, the exhaust was bust and a few other minor issues. All in all this would set me back $1,200 - ouch! They needed to get some of the parts at another location, so I wouldn’t be able to pick up my car until today. When I got home from work, I was beat and not in the mood for training, so I thought: "What the hey, I’ll take a rest day".
Hmm… Today I didn’t get to the gym either - dagnabbit! My car wasn’t ready until 5 pm so when I finally got home, I was too hungry and too tired to do anything about my sad, girlish body.
But TOMORROW I’ll make the iron weep - and that’s a promise!
I hope everybody is doing great and you’re all making up for my sorry a** stories about why I haven’t been going to the gym Y’all have a good one…

Today the workout tracker hit 100 - yay for me!!!
Had a kickass workout today - not the heaviest weights at all, but super concentrated reps and muscles are already sore (just the way we like it!).
While filling out in the workout tracker, I was listening to this oldie but goodie (the riffs are unbelievable):

Yep, the mind-muscle thing I wrote about in the previous Blog sure does bring some pain along - and the GOOD pain I tells ya!
I can’t remember the last time I had such DOMS in my butt, quads and especially calves. It’s been 3 days since I trained calves with very controlled full range movement, and they are still feeling like they want to blow up! I love it
We got the Xbox 360 a few days ago and along with it the new Grand Theft Auto (IV). Man, is it hours of good fun!
I hope everybody is doing well and are giving the iron in the gym the beatings of a lifetime…

Ever since I became interested in bodybuilding and weight training I’ve read a lot of articles, books, checked out web pages, had numerous forum memberships etc. All of this has given me a fair amount of knowledge on what works and what doesn’t. But the funny part is, that every now and then I have to go back a few paces, look up some old info in books or dig deep in my brain to find solutions to problems I already know the answer to!
The past weeks (or months maybe) I’ve subconsciously been caught up in a weight game - like if I were saying to myself: "You throw on some more weight on that barbell … I’m gonna make those legs grow by going heavier for each time" - that’s not smart and it certainly doesn’t do the trick for me. Instead it just leaves my bode drained of energy and maybe even with sore joints. What DOES work for me, is going a little lighter on the weights but with much more focus on the feeling - or what is called mind-muscle connection. So that’s what I did today, and my legs are TOAST!
Today I also started on Muscle Tech’s "Cell Mass Hardcore" which is the first time for me. I’ve heard so much good about this product, so I’m hoping for some gains.
I wish you all a top notch weekend - right up there were you can only say: "It doesn’t get any better than that!" LOL

Dear Mr. Ninja,
I’m writing you an appliance for a membership to your gym. I’ve heard you’re the best!!! I’m having a little trouble around the midsection area - however, I don’t want to lose too much size there, because a good deal of my income comes from my belly dancing. Oh, and I don’t want to become too muscular either … will that be a problem?
I’ve tried other personal trainers before, but they’ve all failed miserably! It always ends up on some sexual harassment. I really can’t help it … I just have that kind of effect on men. So if we do this - please be professional about it! I’ve heard all about your mighty Bulldog, and well let’s face it - I have a weakness for big, bald and brawny men like yourself.
Anyway, I’ve attached this little clip just to show you some of the goodies that awaits you … see you soon big daddy…
