Rice Cakes

Good for you?  Bad for you?  Lots of mixed answers in the forum….I know they have to be Brown Rice and they’re high in GI (I have not a clue as to what that is - just know it’s bad).  All opinions welcome and appreciated :D CHEERS!

So - I went in for a progress check at my gym.  I am down only 7lbs BUT I’ve gained 6lbs in muscle and dropped my bodyfat % from 36% to 29%!! I am pretty happy with that!!  Still, not where I want to be but that’s after 3months…two of them working really hard and I have to say I have been slightly slacking this last little bit :(   Damn Summer, such a distractor :)   Anyway, it was motivation for me though and I’m back at it and I know I can do even better with tightening up my diet and REALLY pushing myself at the gym.  WOOP WOOP!

HORRID WEEK!!!

Yikes, I have had a HORRIBLE week in regards to my diet and gym attendance :(   Actually, let’s make that a week and a half instead….freakin!  Diet this week, not even going to go into details about that.  All you need to know is was the worst it’s been in 3months and I can feel it.  My energy is down and I feel so sluggish, bloated and TIRED! SIIIICK - totally NOT worth it, geez louis, what was I thinking?  Apparantly I wasn’t!  As for the gym…not as bad.  I did go 3days last week but only two this week - eek.  Mind you, the last time I went (Tuesday) I really didn’t feel like going and it was one of the best workouts I’ve ever had!! Back on it on Monday seeing I’m gone all weekend.  Gotta forget about the slacking and move on but I had to fess up!
