Advice?

Did my lower workout on Monday, upper on Tuesday and Cardio/Abs yesterday.  Pulled my ?quad? muscle (front on my thigh - lol) at Baseball last night.  I’m supposed to be doing my leg workout today but wondering if I should since my leg is still a little sore today.  Not a major pull but I can feel it.  My arms are still a little sore from Tuesday still so I don’t want to work them again, thinking they haven’t recovered yet.

Maybe I should just have a Cardio/Abs day again?  Ugh, hate Cardio and my Abs are NOT really sore today…kind of a slack ass Ab day yesterday :O

Stay away from that leg for today. Especially if its still sore. Last thing you need is a torn Quad. I’m assuming your not in any great deal of pain, otheriwse you would have been to the Dr. So stay away from legs today. Live today in order to fight again tomorrow.

Lex is right. No sense in turning into an injury and being out for a couple of weeks.

You can work your abs more than most other body parts, and of course you can do cardio almost every day, so those are safe options.

Depending on the soreness of your arms, it might be safe to work them too, just do a lighter workout than usual. My general rule of thumb with this is to just listen to your body. If you start doing your arms, and you shouldn’t be, they’ll let you know.

I agree with both Lex and Boosh just watch what kind of cardio you do you don’t want to hurt that leg again. For abs try planks, I wrote about them in my blog a little while ago. Simple but effective. :)
