Jumped on my elipitical TWICE yesterday…20min in the morning and 20min after work!!  I used to have such a hard time with Cardio…no wonder, my diet was HORRIBLE!  2-3 meals a day full of convienant CRAP…who knew that cardio could fly by so fast when you fuel your body with the right things?  This is exciting for me, I finally have the energy to meet my goals :D   Thanks Tosca…I can’t praise clean eating enough! Soooo excited to start my routine @ the gym on Monday!

YOWZA!!  Been eating clean for 1 week now…WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE!!!  I can’t even wrap my head around how different I feel, in such an amazing way!!  It’s been way easier then what I thought it was going to be.  All the lean protien and veggies seem to have jump started me.  I was a, never eat breakfast, eat whatever was convienant @ lunch, and big heavy diner girl before and that = a big fat 0 for energy.  Breakfast…WHY did I choose to ignore what everyone said and everything I read for so long about you, I’m sorry!  I’ll never skip you again! The energy I feel during the day with a change of nutrition alone has stunned me….I AM PUMPED to get into a fitness routine at the gym now, just PUMPED!  It’s a weird feeling…I am SO happy to have taken the plunge and implemented clean eating into my life and on the other hand I’m kicking my own ass thinking "why did you waste so much time with all the other crap food?!?!"  Oh, well…23yrs old now, could have been worse!!

Picked up the book "Clean Eating Diet" by Tosca Reno…..love it!! Confused by why they used the word ‘diet’ though on the cover seeing a main point in clean eating is that it’s NOT a diet…it’s a lifestyle?  Anyway, it is a REALLY awesome book so far, such great information.  Really outlines all the different types of ‘clean-eating’ foods and the benefits of eating them, which I really like.  I feel more motivated to eat clean when I know what the foods are doing for my body and what the ‘bad’ food choices aren’t doing for my body…what an eye opener!  I can’t put it down…I’m just waiting for my co-worker to leave for lunch so I can sneak in some more reading.  I am sooo motivated right now - what an amazing feeling!

So…I just joined my gym a few days ago, the owner called me to let me know that they are have a Ladies Competition for most weight lost and inches lost starting January 30th and goes until sometime in April.  I said OF COURSE I’ll join - what’s a better motivator then then being competitive?  Oh - I’m even more excited now….something to put in my acomplishments section….it’s a start!

I’m just trying to prepare and educate myself on training, nutrition, supplements AND motivation!  What a great site for educating yourself….and thanks to all those who have taken the time to answer my questions - such speedy responses are so appreciated!

I actually printed out an entire 12 week nutrition plan off this site…exactly what I think I need…a strict guidline for me to follow.  Planning, planning and more planning coming my way.  A little bit overwhelmed with all the new info seeing I’m a fitness Newbie but, I’m not letting that stand in my way what-so-ever.  If you all can do it…why the hell can’t I?  Wrapping my head around the idea of "YES, YOU CAN LOOK LIKE THAT…..YES, I WILL LOOK LIKE THAT" 

Can’t get off bodyspace at work…reading articles and admiring photos…hoping that’s a good sign :)

 PS - Co-worker just asked me if I wanted a cookie…bitch, ha ha ha!!

Hello All and Any that read this :)

 

So, this is my new start on 2009.  I’m going to be building muscle and loosing fat.  I’ve joined my local gym today and I’ll be planning out my meals daily.  I CAN NOT wait to transform my body into one that I can be REALLY be proud of :)  

 I’ve come to terms with the fact that there is NO easy way to get fit….it’s all about about pain-in-the-ass hard work!! And I am finally READY! BRING IT ON!
