Well it’s been almost a year since I started my fitness journey. I’ve learned a lot but i’m feeling very stuck. It seems that no matter what I do for my diet or how I work out or change my workouts, I can’t lose weight. In fact the bigger problem is my weight keeps going up and I know it’s definately not all muscle. I’ve had some set backs (can’t digest a ton of protein in one day, can’t have whey proteins) but I keep trying different things (meal plans, workouts, etc.) and I just feel completely stuck. I need to figure something out that will work for ME! At this point I need to realistically lose about 7-10 lbs and lean up again. The muscle is there but the fat just wont come off anymore and I know its more difficult cuz i’m not that big to begin with. I guess if anyone has any suggestions i’d appreciate it!

Wow… I can truly say I am impressed by the progress I have made since January! Hard work pays off! I never thought I could drop 6% body fat in just two months and I continue to impress myself by what my body can do! Maybe thats where my motivation comes from…. its so exciting to see how far I can go and the changes my body is making. I’M HOOKED! I had an awesome trainer here in my town who showed me the weight training basics that I never learned and now i’ve teamed up with Stevep78 (fitnesspoynters.com) for my meal plan and new workout routine! I truly feel that I now have the tools to become the best I can be!

SOooo.. i’m feeling great about my 4% body fat loss. Hard work def pays off. My only concern now is my pants dont fit in the quads. I hear that theyre just swollen from all the weight training and that they’ll go back down to normal but im not sure if this is true? I know its really hard to gain a lot of muscle I just wana make sure i’m not bulking up. I feel like having to buy bigger pants would kinda go against the reasons I started doing this whole thing. SO i’m happy but a tad frustrated. Any advice?? THanks everyone!

So I finally feel like I’m back on track and making progress. I have been hitting the gym hard both with cardio and weight training. I’m currently doing a full body detox and hoping that it cleans me out and leans me up a bit. I def got my motivation back and I can’t wait to see some more positive progress. I’m also chuggin tonnns of water. Summer here I come!

SO it’s def been kind of a rough week. I wouldn’t say I fell off the wagon, but for the majority of the week I was under the weather, which made me not work out as much or as hard as i’m used to, AND I had crazy cravings for chocolate and carbs this week that I may have given into a few times. I know next week will be better but I can’t help feeling guilty and kinda like I took a step back. I feel like I’ve made progress since I started in December… but my body fat isn’t really changing and I’m starting to wonder if all my sacrifice and hard work is really gona pay off in the end. I feel like I need a boost of motivation again :/

SO i’m on my 5th week of clean eating with cardio and weight training and all the fiber and protien is making me bloated as hell. I can’t even tell if i’m making progress or if i’m doing something wrong. All I know is I feel gross which isnt exactly what I was going for. I really hope this goes away because between this and not losing inches or lbs im getting pretty frustrated.

So i’m on my fourth week of healthy eating and still not losing any weight. actually i’ve been gaining… which I KNOW is muscle but i’m not burning enough fat. I asked a friend for advice and apparently I’m not eating enough calories, so I need to make an adjustment yet again. Hopefully that will do the trick. Otherwise I can def feel myself getting stronger and leaner every week. Very encouraging! I’m def looking forward to seeing the progress I make in a month from now!

So I’m on week 3 of the healthy eating and I can definately tell i’m gaining some muscle but the scale is NOT moving. How frustrating. I’m upping my cardio to an hour 4 times a week. I really think thats the only thing that works for me. So I guess i’ll see where im at next week after i mix that with my weight training and ab workouts. Trying to stay focused and not get discouraged. And i’m going to do a little tanning so I look alittle healthier and not so pale! Argh! I hate winter hahahah!
