Where did August go?

Certainly was a busy one for me…love going for walks with my Mom in
the evening…spending time with good friends
downtown…biking…eating outside…it’s been a good time…oh yes, the Cubbies are doing great…they won again today!

I was able to participate in Cathy Savage’s Chicago Fitness Camp and
met some great new girls…including a girl I used to babysit
for…lol!  I also had the honor of working with Red Skye Comics at
Chicago Glamourcon 41…I will be starting picture albums of those
events soon as images become available…

Wonderful news is that my comic book of me as The Fairy Myx is now out
and available…a 20-page story of how I save the world with a little
help from my friends

I also had a fabulous photoshoot with Greg Kalen…his images turned
out really awesome….

The month of September will be filled with heavy duty ftiness
competition prep as I prepare to compete in FAP’s Midwest Competition
being held in Chicago Heights on October 13th…wish me luck as it
tends to be somewhat stressful…lol!  My most favorite recipe though
was given to me by one of my first trainers…in a microwave-safe dish
I mix up four egg whites (one yolk to cat…lol!), a half cup of
oatmeal…mix, mix, mix!  Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and cover
to microwave for 3 minutes or so…eat it warm or cooled
off….sprinkle with a little Splenda and spray butter….what a yummy
treat! 

Finding balance is one of the biggest challenges for me…but must say
that I have learned a lot in learning how to eliminate those things in
my life that create an internal havoc…and embracing those things
which truly bring me joy…most especially by letting go of my
expectations and just letting things be…

Still constantly looking for a way to help the environment, to help
conserve wildlife…hopefully I will find a way soon…donating money
to a charity is one thing…I’d like to make a much bigger difference
than that!
