This past week has been a whirlwind. Life has been truly amazing since I earned my pro card only one week ago. I think I received 200 or more emails of congratulations and well wishes and positive thoughts and energy and support and love. And I want to soak up every minute of it, it truly is remarkable. We work so hard for exactly this moment, and when if finally arrives to enjoy it is a whole other thing. I am enjoying every second of it, and I am so grateful for all the energy that is coming my way. I hope to be a good "Pro" role model and strive to get better and better in all areas.

Second there is a really fun clip of me backstage, I think no more than two minutes after receiving my pro card. And finally I had the unique priveledge of Glen E Grant being in attendance at the North American. Glen usually shoots shows outside of America so I was thrilled to receive these beautiful collages as well as some very unique camera angles of the show. As if that is not enough excitement, I am going to compete in my first pro show in 2 weeks. I am crazy or what? Those of you local to Southern California or planning on coming to Southern California, please come check out the Tournament of Champions and cheer us all on.

Big Dave from Muscular Development interviewed me literally within 2 minutes after coming off stage winning the Masters Overall at the North American. It is truly and amazing thing to see my giddiness in all its goofy glory.  Hence you will notice, everything was happening so fast I did not even realize who was interviewing me you will see my little flub up at the end.  But anyway you can get a glimpse of how I was feeling on this video and thanks Dave for capturing one of the greatest moments of my life on video.  That was really amazing.  Great stuff.  Be sure to check out www.musculardevelopment.com they are really stepping up to the plate with contst coverage and video clips, really is an amazing thing they are doing for our sport.

OK, so I have this blank entry, I have no idea how to delete a blank entry so I thougth I would ramble some text in here to show there is actually an entry, in all my computer geekiness, I cannot find the delete button.  Blah!!!!! What’s for dinner? Time for some cardio?

I just added a new gallery from the IFBB North American on my web site: www.nancygeorges.com  there are also a few other links to some other great shots from different web sites as well.  I am still on cloud nine. Such a great feeling, I cannot describe it.

We did it!!! Finally, at the North American Figure Championships and on my birthday I was awarded the prestigious IFBB Figure Pro Card.  I am so excited, words cannot describe the feelings that I am having right now.  To all you ladies who are dieting and training and pushing and struggling and wondering if it is all worth it, let me tell you, it is so worth it. This is the greatest feeling ever.  To strive for something and achieve it.  Of course I could not have done any of this without the support of my family, My father and my boyfriend and all those who supported me, my training and coaching team, friends who helped critique me, judges who gave me feedback along the way on what to work on, and everyone involved who was there behind me 100 percent supporting me and… wow, it is so amazing, words cannot describe this feeling right now. The list is too long of everyone who has helped me and given me postive energy.  I only hope to do justice as an IFBB Figure Pro and to stand tall and proud next to the amazing wome that represent the sport of figure.  I am so excited, this is really the best feeling ever.  Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to everyone, each and everyone of you, from the smallest positve thought to those that were praying and sending me mojo all weekend, this was not an individual effort, had I attempted this alone, I would have failed, this success is for everyone, and I am so honored to be able to have had the experience that I ahve had this past weekend. It was truly a dream come true and I think quite possibly the best weekend of my entire life…. (so far) stay tuned for my Figure Pro debut, I have to tend to some paperwork, but will keep you posted as to when I will be jumping in the mix.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! special thanks to Gary Udit for such a wonderful show, and to my wonderful client Tina Todd whom I roomed with at the show, you are an amazing woman!!!!!!!!
