OK, the week has come I am off to Cleveland in a few days for the North American.  I am getting very excited.  Stephen from www.figurerx.com has posted a preview article showcasing some of the athletes that will be competing at the show. Looks like it is going to be some fierce competition in all the classes.  here is the article if you want to take a peak:

Not much to report, lots of boring cardio, laundry and packing of clothes and food. The stoning of the suits is finally done.  Horray.  I added more for this show, and I can hardly wear them without falling over.  haha, only kidding, let’s hope they can find me with all the shimmer on my suits, it is hard to tell anymore what color the fabric is, does it really matter anyway?

Well, thank you so much for all your well wishes and wonderful cards and words of encouragement, and may I say some cards were extra cool!!!!!! Your support means a lot to me.  I will do my best to do what I can to bring it all home but as we know that is not up to me.  Now it is time to relax and enjoy the little vacation.

One more week to go till the North American Figure. I am very excited. My body is a bit tired, but I keep on pushing through it.  Workouts are intense and so is the diet, leaning out a bit from the last show at the USA, it is a difficult challenge that is for sure, but one that I am up to nonetheless.

I am also excited about a phone conference I will be having this evening to discuss some questions that girls have for competing in figure. That is tonight at 7pm pacific time, so if you happen to be available and you are a competitor or future competitor, jump in on the call, we will be having a live question and answer period it is going to be fun.  You can also sign up to ask your questions in advance as well.

Other than that training is steady and really I am ready for a snack or something fun, maybe a crosaint from starbucks, that will really hit the spot.  Not until after the show though. OK, gotta go… time to eat… that is pretty much the day, eat, sleep, workout.

I am back from Vegas. It has been a week now since I have gotten back from the USA in Vegas and I am still recovering. I took off yesterday and today completely from training, I am just exhausted and tired. The good news is that I am in the top 5 for the second year in a row at the USA. I am also very excited and thrilled that Jessica Wright finally got her pro card. Way to go girl. The show was as always very well organized and on Saturday it was a delightful treat that they reversed the order and figure F. got to go first onstage. It was great to have the whole day free, I got to go out to lunch and take an hour nap too, we don’t usually get that because we are waiting at the venue for most of the day to go onstage, so it was a welcome treat that is for sure. You can also find a great post competition article on www.figurerx.com Stephen has been putting together some great contest previews and well as reports. This is definately a site to start bookmarking as I am sure it will only get better and better over time. Also I think some great contest coverage can be found at www.musculardevelopment.com as well as bodybuilding.com I got some great feedback from the judges, and I am taking a very, very short breather and will be back for more at the North American on August 31st and September 1st. Now September 1st is my birthday, I am sure you know what I want for my birthday????? Can you take a guess? Let’s put my order in for that one in advance. OK, so back to bed I go, I am still not 100% myself yet, just a few more days and I should be back to full speed ahead.
