Had a great deep tissue massage yesterday, she really dug into my quads and back big time, felt great, I was spent after like an awesome workout in the gym. Took the night off from cardio to let the legs heal and recover, and I must say, I hardly knew what to do with myself. But, I managed to find something. It was great having 1/2 day off felt like an eternity. Everything is going well for my training for the USA, diet and training on track, feeling super hungry, in more ways than one, and that is a good thing. Hope you are having a great summer.

4 weeks till the USA, diet and training going well. Energy is good. Workouts are crazy and intense just the way I like them. Not much interesting about it to report. Eating lots of food which is making me happy the bazillion hours of cardio not so much. However I do like to think when I do cardio, so I have had some enlightening conversations with myself in the gym. As long as I keep it in my head no-one gets hurt right.
I guess July is Nationals month, we have the Team Universe as well as the USA and Master’s Nationals, one of my girls, whom I want to give a shout out to cuz she is a hard worker. I think sometimes more so than me, I tease her a lot saying one day she will be coaching me. But she is getting ready for the Master’s Nationals it is her first National show she is very excited, so:

Hello. Training is going well and on schedule for the USA in Vegas, in 5 weeks from now, I am getting very excited and spending way to much time in the gym. I actually took a morning off from my workouts (made it up later in the day of course) just to wash my hair, that is what I mean by way to much time in the gym. At any rate, it is pretty boring stuff same old thing, cardio, training same food, that stuff. Nothing really to interesting… although I like it. Have been pretty low on energy the last few weeks due to increase in activity and decrease in body fat, so my postings have been less than usual. In other news, I am very excited and delighted to have officially extended my Lifestyle Fitness Coaching and Figure Coaching Programs to 12 weeks now. Did legs on Saturday, I felt it that day, really strong, yesterday pretty bad, today a freaking nightmare, I need a cane to walk (not really) but I did take the elevator at the gym, yes it is that painful. Also I went to update my blog and it took me about 5 minutes to find the update button, brain is moving a bit slow today, yesterday too, I miss my carbs. Rounding the bend at 6 weeks out for the USA, training is awesome, I am feeling in the zone and loving it. Sore a lot, training a lot, but it is all good. I have gotten a lot of great comments from you all, thank you so much for your support, I get comments in my email box and when I go to find how to respond often I cant figure out the link. I know, I even used to be a web designer, and figuring out buttons pre contest is a nightmare. But I will say in advance, thank you and I do get all your messages in my in box. Thank you so much for your kind words, encouragement and support. Hope your training is going well, having my coffee right now, getting amped to do some more cardio. Legs are really fried toast this should be interesting this morning, here I go wish me luck.

Things have been going well, been training hard for the USA, now coming up in a little over 7 weeks. My workouts have increased to 2 sessions a day and now trying to find the time again to fit everything in. It seems when once things are in a flow it is easy, and when I go into off season I don’t know what to do with all that extra time, but now I find myself trying to squeeze my workouts in a little earlier, so I can see clients, and do them a little later. It is a balance that is for sure. Things should chill out in a few weeks. Lots of cardio, and we all know how much I love cardio. Can you say ZERO???? Yes, I thougth you could. There are not enough songs in my ipod it seems. Also does anyone know of some online programs for music, I am using Rhapsody and it seems to be sucking bad. Would really like some more music, that would help get me through it.
Also, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been posting comments. I have been getting so many that I am not the greatest at posting back to everyone, I admit that but wanted to say that I am reading them all and thank you so much for your positive words and messages. OK… gotta go workout, what else is new.
