4.5 miles and short term goal
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008As a chronically skinny guy, I always avoided cardio, as I felt it just burned out those hardly gained pounds. However, I have been doing some cardio lately, mainly to support my wife, and on sunday we ran for 50 minutes, totalizing 4.5 miles. We’re very happy with it, specially considering that one month ago we were not able to run for more than 15 minutes, and that she runs twice a week, and I do it once a week. It was for both of us the longest time and the longest distance we’ve ran in our entire lives. Now I only have to go back to the weight room and start packing muscle. And I will. My short term goal now is to be 150lbs by June 1st.
