For years the NPC Steel World Bodybuilding, Fitness, & Figure Championships has kept increasing in size. This year will break all records. The awards last year included roses to all female competitors. Crystal tiaras to all fitness and figure competitors. Plaques to top five in every class. Championship rings to bodybuilding men & women, fitness, and figure winners. And the overall winner received a guitar with the NPC Steelworld logo on the back! And it will only get better in 08’. We want everyone that competes in NPC Steelworld to come home a winner and have something to show for it.
When an athlete enters NPC Steelworld the promoters, Mike & Jan horn will personally guide you into the show. They can help you with dieting, nutrition, supplement usage, exercise, cardio, posing, presentation and whatever else to help you in to those final days of prep. In addition IFBB Pro Mike & Jan Horn will hold a Friday night seminar the night before the show to help anyone with last minute questions before pre-judging the next day. This is huge if you’re a little off they can bring you back to perfection. The Horns like that fact that they are NPC promoters, competitors and NPC judges. Because of that, they can relate to the competitors what he/she needs to on the day of the show. They also understand the competitors’ ambition to be the best and really want to help him/her get there. There will be the most experienced expititors back stage with private prep areas to relax in until its your time to go on stage. They will be there to fix hair, suits, color, last second pose critique and tell ya how good ya look! Jan has helped expite IFBB and National NPC shows and brings that professionalism to her own show. 5 athletes from NPC shows that Mike & Jan Horn have promoted have went on to earn IFBB pro status, who’s next?
This show has been chosen by Jay Hammitt of BodTV to be aired on ION satellite TV. In addition all competitors will be featured in Southern Muscle Plus the south’s leading bodybuilding, fitness, & figure magazine.
The show is open to athletes nationwide. Last year there competitors came from as far away as Seattle. The audience itself is always impressive too, a who’s who of the sport.
Every trainer who sends competitors will be given an award.
The stage for NPC Steelworld is the largest anywhere with theater style soft chairs there is no bad seat in the house. You look good on stage from every angle. It’s a photographers dream. You will get better stage shots than you thought were possible.
There is a web site www.NPCSteelWorld.com to download an entry form. Call 251-634-8885 for any questions.

I am sorry to say that our good friend Pat Moore “the Silver Fox” passed away early last night. Jo Jo called last night about 12 o’clock, alone and very emotional, as we can all understand. She said that he had been in ICU and that his heart just stopped working. She said his doctor had only given him two years after the heart surgery, but Pat had made it nine years, so they were thankful for the extra time. I only saw him without his wife, Jo JO, once in all the years when she was sick.
She did not know of any arrangement until Jeff (Pat’s son) gets there today from Atlanta. She thinks it might be Monday. I will e-mail again when I have the info.
For the ones that would like to call or send a card, home number is 228-388-5758 address, 495 Popps Ferry #20, Biloxi, MS 39531
We Will greatly miss Pat Moore. He had been in the sport a long time and was a great man. He helped IFBB pro, Mike Horn, get started into bodybuilding.
