Gotta Re-Group!
Ok, so my trainer instructs me 2 start my contest diet 12 weeks (2/23) out vs. the original plan of 16 weeks (1/26). I’m beginning to feel like the off diet food is becoming too good and I hope I can keep things in order another 4 weeks! I’m sitting steady at 130 which is good. But if things get too much outta control I’ll go ahead and get back on the diet at 14 weeks. Dunno, it’s something about the contest diet…i can stay more in control knowing "I’m on contest diet" vs. "I’m just eating cleaning". My goal is to compete at 110 this go around, 4 pound less than last time.
The training is going well. The one thing I have been concentrating on is my glutes/hamstrings area…..specifically that little tie/in area. We just want it to be tighter next time I walk on stage. I work those areas 2x a week. Other than that, I’m not doing anything special, not trying to grow any additional muscle (my trainer is constantly telling me "you have more than enuff muscle for figure" what do you want to do figure or bodybuilding?), so the overall goal is to maintain what I have and working on the fine details.

What were the reasons given for 12 weeks rather than 16? Just curious…

I don’t have nearly as much BF to drop as I did last time.

How much body fat are you at right now? And How many"cheats" did you allow yourself to maintain this in the off season?
