16 WEEKS - JR. USA!!!
Sunday, January 27th, 2008Wow, it’s that time again. I’m currently 16 weeks out from my 1st National Show!! Soooo excited and my mind is already playing tricks on me!!
In my previous blog I stated that I won’t start the serious diet until 12 weeks out. However, I’ve looked at several competitors preparing for the JR. and competition is going to be fierce!! This past week I decided it was time to tighten up and get back into my serious routine. I was going to the gym but my times were sporadic. This past week I made it to the gym every morning by 6AM to do my weight training. For the next 4 weeks I’ll continue 2 concentrate on my weight training and will start back w/ the cardio 1st thing in the AM, so now I’ll be at the 4:30AM and training at 6!!
Here’s my start stats for this long journey I’m about to begin!!! Just like last time, I’ll be posting my progress on a weekly basis.
133 pounds, 19 pound weight gain from last show
Breast 34 1/2
Waist 28, my problem area, I’ve put on 3.5 inches since my last show. I’m shooting for 23 1/2 inches this go round!
Hips 34 1/2
Quad 20 3/4
Bicp 11 1/4
My goal for this show is to walk on stage at 110 pounds. My hope is that coming down 4 more pounds will tighten up my midsection and glute/ham area.
You have taken the time to read my blog so feel free to comment w/ suggestions. I’m a newbie at this and welcome any comments. I got some very good constructive criticism from a guy that really made me see things totally different..So, once again feel free to comment b/c I’m not perfect and I welcome your feedback.
