Fasting

Well, I have decided to fast, its Day 2 already and im’ just tired and feel weird. Why fast? For the past few weeks I have been eating more differntly than I should. I have a sensitive stomach do not eat pork or red meat due to the problems and the whole steroids, antibiotics and animal treatment. Yes, I’m one of those. I do eat Turkey, little bit O’ chicken, fish or soy. No, MSG, too much sugar content, preservatives, sulfites, yeast, milk products (Organic 2% has been helpful) the list goes on. BUT, due to the amount of certain supplements I have been able to tolerate foods, that I used to not. I have felt so bad, bloated, sore, tired and just plain crappy. So, i need to rid myself of these things and toxins. It’s just much over due. After much research, which I do before beginning anything that is nutrition and health based. I realized I did not need to eat or follow another persons  guidelines, I needed my own and I have to start over on my diet.

Over Working

Well, I have exhausted myself again these last few days. I do not mean to but wonder if I have become obsessed with my goals. I get compliments but do not see what others see. I see as having quite a bit to go, when it comes to fat loss and definition. I’m tired and my muscles are sore. I go to the gym 3-5 times a week. BUT, I alternate my routine and I have a small gym and weights here at home. I know there is a 24-74 hour recovery for muscles. I do alot of research on muscle development, diet and exercise. I have been calculating my calories, my water intake, keeping stats on my aerobic exercise with a Imara heart rate monitor. Which has been a big help because I was going over my max BPM. The XLR8 and the fast paced music I listen to, made me not really pay enough attention to movement. Now, I do and its sort of a game, trying to keep from going over my max. But today, i was just unusually tired and my mucles were screaming at me and I listned AFTER, i finished my leg routine. Plus I did not eat enough today. I have lost 5lbs but I drink over 2 quarts of water now and my abdominals are a little more visible and my weight has not shifted in 2 days, which rarely happens. I know I over do it sometimes but as soon as I get up and eat my oatmeal or what have you, I just want to run and run. Its hard to stay out of the gym. So, the next 2 days I’m off. Since I have not been working, temp agencies just kind of suck. Its hard to find anything in accounting lately. I get REAL restless and need to do something. So, the gym is it.
