After C-section

It’s been two and a half weeks since I delivered my baby. And patiently waiting for the okay to start training with weights again. While some moms are banging away on heavy steel, I’m pulling resistance at a moderate level- teasing my muscles. I want to work out hard but since I had a c-section (or should I say 4th c-section), healing time is slower- they say weeks and I don’t want to do any damage before I do heal. I have been eating clean as much as possible and like I said moderate resistance (bands that is) with vacuums- exercises for my abs. Working out (lightly) during pregnancy helped keep my weight at bay. The first 7 months I gained 26 lbs. but the very last weeks I blew up. Water I believe. My face, legs and feet swelled up like melons but the rest of me remained the same and my blood pressure jacked up quite high. It was a strange experience for me. When I went in to be weighed 2 days before my delivery I weighed in at 192 lbs, that’s nearly 20 lbs less than 2 weeks. I didn’t eat any different or add anything unusual to my meals. After baby I weighed 181 and 2 weeks after that 166 lbs. Now @ 163 lbs, that’s down 29 lbs. Can you see why I believe it was water? Well come mid-April my training begins. I don’t doubt my doctor will deny me the okay. So check me out next month for the start of my transformation.
