Empty

I guess it happens I am not used to it but when you push as hard as I have for as long as I have it is inevitable.  I can usually find soemthign somewhere but, there is nothing.  I am tired beyond belief and it is not physical so, tomorrow I will go tot he gym i will go through and do what I need to in order to get the workout complete.  But, I am empty.  I wonder how you refuel where you go to get back in the game.  I suppose seriously it has only been two months but it feels like an eternity and I want to rest.  So, is it true i will rest when I’m dead??? i don’t know but I just need to document the highs and the lows and today is a low.  Just feeling a bit empty.

Resting is so vitally important to being able to refuel, and it sounds like you need a rest right now. It’s okay to give yourself permission to take a break. Listen to your body, rest, regroup, and then ease back into it. I have plenty of days where I feel completely depleted and can’t possibly do another thing. That’s when I take my rest. If you do this, and don’t feel guilty about it (that’s important), I bet you’ll come back stronger than ever. Thank about it. You’re so not alone.

I have been there, and back again. Active resting, ie changing what you do, from changing exercises, order of bodyparts trained. I stopped following a set routine this year, and use more of a freestyle method. That doesn’t mean I take it easy, but rather I listen to my body, make the proper adjustments and try new things all the time. This gives me the constant changes I need to maintain my energy levels, and motivation. I look forward to every workout, and rarely find myself running empty. The lows remind us of how great the highs are. Keep training hard, find new ways to get the excitment back, and try new ways of pushing yourself!

Girl it happens to all of us. The highs and the lows. Wanting immediate results, and being disappointed when all the hard work seems in vain. But remember, as long as you’re working, changes are taking place. You may not see them but they’re there. Maybe you need to take a couple days to reinvigorate yourself. Have some me time and just refocus. Like bldntz says, do something different, shake the body up by trying new things. It’s not always about the weights, incorporate something new. If you want some suggestions, just hit me up, you know I’m here for you:)
