This Temple

I have always thought of my body as a temple.  As a gift from God.  That each thing I put in is a show or an offering of what I think of the gift of life God has given me.  So that said what have I done.  I have eaten crap, worked out only half ass.  Given every excuse to myself as to why this is good enough.  Is that what I would say on judgement day?  Be it a competition (that I am by no means ready for) or the day my maker takes me home.  I have to believe in my heart that giving my all to improve my body is not just for today and not just to look hot.  In all actuality it is a way to show the world how much I love the gift of life, the gift of strength.  So for the last time I have desecrated this temple.  I respect what I see others on this board do.  It is not an overnight journey and it takes the mental fortitude of a soldier but the love of a zealot.  So I will be both.  Strength in body knowing I can make it.  Zealot in heart loving without question this life of bodybuilding.  It is onward and upward.  I will use it for the purpose intended to serve and honor not serve, myself last my God first.

Rambling

Today I had a great workout.  I was completely energized but, I think it was the coffee and not anything proper in my diet.  I had some greek yogurt and hespenworst for breakfast.  I also have no clue how good that is for my workout but, I had a late night and no apetite today.  I gave 110% as ususal and I am psyched to finally allow myself to put up some progress pics.  I think I have a ways to go still before any muscle can be seen.  But, even an Empire as great as Rome was not built in a day.

My oh My what to eat?

I usually have no appetite in the morning.  I never know what to eat and try to make smart choices especially on workout days.  this way I will have the energy to work out and my muscles will benefit from whatever I have eaten.  However, I am always stuck on this problem.  I hate eating in the morning and yet, I need to because I work out in the morning.  What to do?  I am now stuck on Muesli and I am not even sure it is healthy.  I mean it is sold as a health food but, is it really?  I only like fried eggs and well that is not really healthy.  i can’t buy egg whites over here it just doesn’t exist.  So that is my rant for today.  i have no clue how to fit an appropriate meal in before my morning work out.  I am reluctant to say healthy because honestly, that should go without saying.

For starters does anyone know how to stop spam from coming through your blog posts?  OK so enough said on that.  I am having a crazy weekend and it is one of the reasons I rarely do things because I am a creature of habit.  I like to workout when I am supposed to and to eat when I expect to and all that jazz.  Yesterday I went to a very cool exhibit in Amsterdam and it was lovely but, it throw off my schedule and I am now forced to do it today late in the evening because I had house work to do today.  Blah blah blah I was tempted not to workout today but, I felt so guilty that I had to do it anyway and the long and the short of it is, I am glad I did.
