One step at a time
Monday, September 8th, 2008I have decided to take my time as this is will be a lifelong endeavor. I want to be sure I do it right. Yesterday I read through pages and pages of excercises that I could do at home with little or no equipment. I then decided to take a 2:30 hour long bike ride. Why waste the day just reading. The bike riding is what really let’s me know I am on the right course. I love looking down when I am doing hills and seeing my leg muscles bulge. I don’t have anywhere else on my body that I can see any muscle whatsoever. So this is a little positive reinforcement.
Today’s plan is to ride for a half hour on the bike. I need to go to the market so I will buy some fresh veggies for dinner. My whole day really is mapped out around dinner.
I have already done a leg workout I think. I did squats, leg lifts for inner and outer thigh, and then crunches. The problem is this doesn’t feel like a true workout. I did 3 sets of 20 for each excercise. But, I am still learning so enough for today.
