I made it through thanksgiving!

I had family in town, who entered with McDonalds bags in hand. The rest of my family isn’t exactly active, so they question my lifestyle a little bit. On a good note, i haven’t seen my mother in a long time, and she said i look like a prized bull or a racehorse or something. I am pretty sure that is a compliment, too. My thanksgiving dinner was limited to a small amount of turkey, about a cup of mashed potatoes, a yam(without the "candy"), and some veggies. I didn’t even eat pie! The family was gathered around the Wii while dinner was in the works, so i took the opportunity to take the bicycle outside and do some cycling. we have a nice stretch of empty highway that goes for miles through the desert, and it is basically deserted. I kept about an 18 mph pace for 30 minutes, and then had supper! This morning i had my heavy day. I did trunk instead of extremeties(if you are following the transformation, you know what i am talking about). I had a little trouble doing plate rows, because these plates are real thick and don’t interlock as the ones at my normal gym do, so they kept sliding around if they weren’t perfectly level. I can’t wait for legs tomorrow.

Day 2

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

I just saw my article on the front page of the supersite. A picture is worth 1000 words, because I didn’t realize I was so fat! That is ok, it will just make my after picture look that much better! Today will be my extremetie workout, which i will do in the evening so i am a little better fed and have more energy for the leg beating to come. Sleep went down south last night. I did, however, use my elliptical for the first time. That is pretty darn convenient.

Day One of New Program!

Today is the first official day of the new cutting program. My food is set for about 2600 calories, and i have a crazy workout, which I just completed for today. My food for the day is all prepped and packed, and I even have a few cool tools to help me. Mike Bieker got me a supplement carry case that is like a mini trapper keeper, with about a dozen ziploc bags in there (Roam Products). I think that is was meant to carry like a week’s worth of of stuff, but mine is completely full of today’s load, including all of my powdered products such as Xtend and protien. I also ordered a Triaxiom Fitness Stax System, which has about 20 food containers in a duffel bag on wheels with a food timer. That will be handy! I will put today’s workout in the workout tracker later, but i will say the 30 reps a piece kicked my butt. On a final note, this past weekend i got an elliptical and put it in the living room. I don’t really have a gym in my town, and i’m not too inclined to commute an extra 20 miles a day just to do cardio, so this will help tremendously.
