Taking in more protein
Well yesturday was the start of my new diet…I like it…I ate/drank 270 grams of protein yesturday with about 2000 calories and 65 carbs…so I am excited and happy. I feel a little tired today, so maybe I am not eating enough calories with an hour of cardio in the morning and an hour of lifting at night…I am open to suggestions/ideas…I am hoping that with me taking in that much protein (and with my diet) I can lean out and loose this extra weight..I am at 199lbs and want to be at 180-185lbs…but do you think I will have to do more cardio maybe 2 hours instead? if so should I up my calories? I entered in to the OBF contest with BB.com which ends in August…should I step up the cardio in the beginning of July to loose the extra weight or start the two hours now? Any input would be great…
Oh Also one more thing, whole milk or 1% milk…let me know your thoughts…I only drink 4-8oz a day…I like and prefer Whole Milk but everyone is pushing towards 1%…Why I don’t get it? I know everyone says it is bad for you buy why is it bad for you? What will it do?
Thank you for your input!!!
Have a good one!!!

sidney is a funny guy. I’ll have to check that guy out…. to your questions, rice milk rules! … but if you are not in to milking rice go skim. Your diet looks great. Give it a week. See how you feel then, I think you could trade out a little fat for a few more carbs. at 265protein and 65carbs that gives you 73grams fat on a 2000 cal diet. I think you could drop a little fat for a few more carbs… You and I have the exact same diet!!! except I eat 4500 calories.
. Keep up the good work!

SImply put: unless you’re trying to build muscle, that’s too much protein. Take in one gram per pound of bodyweight (BW). Last tip, drop most if not all processed foods…..you’ll be surprised how quickly the weight drops when you push out all the sodium and other unwanteds that are inherent to processing. And don’t be scared, you’ll also be surprised at how easy cooking fresh is…..There are so many seasonings nowadays that are salt free, too.

Hey Bodyauditor…thank you for you input regarding my diet…The reason that I am eating that much protein is so that I can maintain the muscle that I have. I am currently doing 60-90 mins of cardio 6 times a week along with lifting for an hour a 5-6 a week…if you have read my past blogs you will see that another reason that I eat that much protein is so that I don’t shake the next day, due to getting low blood sugar and eating more protein prevents that…I don’t eat out, I grill most of my food, I don’t drink sodas, I am allergic to chocolate, I don’t eat sweets except ice cream maybe once a month, I don’t eat fried foods, so I know that most of my diet is clean…once again thank you for your advice and help it is always appreciated…
