its been quite some time since ive done one of these. its now he first week of february 2009, and I am basically in full force at the gym.  Im going through a semi-bulk phase with my training right now. I used to be much lower in bodyfat, and right nw it seems like im hovering around 10% or so.  I say that because i can still "see" my abs to an extent and I am still vascular but jut not to the extent that I used to be.  Im hoping to put on another 5-10lbs by the end of this coming summer, while dropping my bodyfat a few % points. ive been injury free for quite some time and I hope that  I didnt just jynx myself by saying that, but all seems to be well. Ive begun trying to lift heavier than I have in the past. im doing alot f compound movements, with alot of focus on deadlifts and squats. im still trying to shy away from barbell bench press because I feel it hurts my shoulders too much so I substitute it with dumbells. the strength seems to be there xcept for just a few days that i feel out of it. Im not currently on any supps that im taking religously, ive tried a couple samples of things here and there but for the most part its just what i eat and how i train. in the coming summer when it starts to warm up from this chicago winter, im going to start biking everywhere which will hopefully help me to start leaning out for this summer. because we all know its better to look fat in winter when we can at least cover up with all those clothes! and on a side note im letting my hair grow out again to my collar so my progress pics from now on are going to show it. I hope everyone is meeting their goals in the gym and in life. God bless.

4.5 weeks out from show.

So i’ve got a little over a month before my first show. Im excited but at the same time, nervous about how it is gonna go. I dont take steriods or anything of that nature, but the guys im gonna be competing against more than likely are goin to be on them. my diet is slowly coming into place, since this is my first show, I dont have a PLAN as most would call it, Im just starting cardio at the end of this week, keeping my diet CLEAN. no soda, fast food, limiting dairy, increasing water intake along with protein. Chicken is basically all I eat, along with fruits, and oats, oh cant forget FLAX. need those EFA’s to replace some carbs at the end of the diet.. I know its not rocket science, but I think that when people make a strict diet and begin weighing their food (ex: 12 oz chicken breast) i think it becomes overdone. some will argue that thats how it needs to be, but i feel that if you bassically eat things that are natural, and dont come in a box, you will be fine as long as you do proper cardio and stay in yout THR range. now I know that REDICULOUSLY low BODYFAT is rewarded very highly, however, I want to bring the physique to the stage that bodybuilders of yesteryear would be proud of. sort of like the guys from PUMPING IRON, but scaled down to my size. I am sure that it is going to be great fun, and I know I am going to have many a friend in the audience showing their support for me. Its my hobby, and problobly the largest part of my life, now that Im single. bodybuilding will always be my best friend, and I know it will treat me well.

danger of not being able to compete…

so i crashed my bmx bike today. the chain came loose and I lost my balance and fell. I honestly dont remember much. all I know is one minute Im riding and waving at some girl who just moved into her house, and the next, paramedics are putting me on a stretcher and my neck is in a brace. I had a slight concussion I guess. I was out for about 10 mins. or so. the cops took my bike back to my house and I was brought to the hospital. I suffered a fracture bone below my left eye. the one that makes up my upper cheek. and an assumed fractured left shoulder. it was the bone that attatches to the socket. right below the ball joint. Ive got some pretty bad scrapes and bruises. it looks like I was beat by the mob or something. I hope the wounds will heal before my show october 27th. but as far as training. I might not be able to train for a while due to the "fractured" shoulder. I have to go to a bone doctor (forgot correct name) and see what he says. I will be greatly dissapointed if I miss my show. I already have a diet going. I ordered my posing trunks earlier this week and I even got the dream tan to use before the show. I was sooo prepared and one little turn in life can effect so much. I thank god that I wasn’t seriously injured. I have never broken a bone, and I guess a fracture isn’t the same as a break, so I can at least be lucky of that. I will post some pictures of the results of my fall. feel free to tell me what you think and if you think I should still try for the show on October 27th. thanks for reading.

sorry about the delay…

 I got my results back from my second blood test taken 2 months after the first. remember that ALT was 326? well its back in the normal range it is now15. along with everything else being in the normal range, I havent taken any supps besides protien for months now, and Im preparing for my first show october 27th. hope I do well.

I recently went to the emerygency room (4-17-07) for some private matters. while there, I had my first blood test taken. everything seemed normal, except… my liver results. I was half way through my cycle and everything was going great. put on 8lbs of muscle (no bodyfat) in 2 weeks! but the test came back and said that my GPT/ALT was at 326. yes 326. normal range is between (21- 72). my level was 4.5X higher than normal! the doctor said stop taking EVERYTHING! so I am done with mass tabs for good, and will hope to see some good results on my next blood test in about 1 month.

Just passed the halfway mark of my cycle of mass tabs -15 days. 15 more to go, and I have already put on 7lbs! yes 7. I weigh myself in the morning also, when your body weighs the least. so that isn’t water, or food. just rock solid gains. my bodyfat seems to have gone down 1% or so, but I started at like 6% so when you are in the single digits like me, it makes a lot of difference. I started at 149-150, and am now between 156-157. I don’t know what IDS puts in these things (stenbolone-tm) but it seems to work quite well. I am hoping to post pics when the cycle is through.

saturday the 31st was my first day of MASS TABS combined with V-50 both by IDS sports. I have used mass tabs in the past, and put on 9lbs in 30 days. bodyfat remained the same. 5% or so. hoping to put on another 10-12 lbs this time around. I will make sure to document my stat changes and weight chart as well. any questions just ask.
