Hello July

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Well June 2008 is in the past. It was a good month for me with regards to training. I see subtle results of my commitment and labor. I will continue to work hard and make adjustments necessary to reach my goals. My latest adjustments were to my diet, hoping to provided nutrition to increase lean muscle mass and reduce my body fat. I’m looking forward to working harder in July, because I enjoy training and seeing the changes to my physique. Best wishes to all in attaining desired goals. Stay fit and be strong…………..

Happy Father’s Day!

I had a great week. I made a few adjustments to my diet 7 days ago. I also added 30 minutes of moderate cardio at the end of each resistance workout. I’m feeling great and I’ve received quite a few positive comments on my physique. I appreciate the comments, but I’m still no where near my goals yet. The comments do let me know I’m headed in the right direction and that fuels my fire. I’m committed to drive my body fat percentage down and lean muscle mass up. It’s down to dedication, consistency and diet at this point in my training. Well that’s all for now. Best wishes to all my fitness comrades here at BB.com.

Change is Good

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

This has been a good week. I’m feeling real good after adjusting my diet and exercise program. I think I will see visible results real soon. I added 30 minutes of cardio to the end of each resistance workout. I also moved to a two on one off, two on two off routine. That day off in the middle truly makes a difference in my recovery and strength. Commitment, work, diet and rest will produce desired results.

Time for Adjustments

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

Workouts have been going great. I guess I have work to do on my diet and cardio. I’m not happy with my percentage of body fat (27%). I moved from 25% to 23% and now I’m at 27% with a goal of 15%. I weigh 210 lbs with a goal of 200 lbs. This just tells me I need to make adjustments and work harder. Nobody said transition would be easy. I’ve already started to adjust my workouts to include 20 minutes of cardio after my resistance training. I hope to keep my workouts around 90 minutes per session. I will being working on my diet. Well that’s all for now. The plan has been stated, now it’s time to execute.
