Today I worked out at the gym on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (North Carolina). They have a great facility, with plenty of equipment to work your entire body. I was impressed with the set up and quality of equipment. My son and daughter-in-law are stationed at this base.
The N. Carolina weather is great compared to the heat in Texas. The base is beautiful, green and plenty of trees. I had a great workout that started and ended with the walk to and from the gym. It’s about 2.5 miles and I enjoyed every minute of the walk both ways. I posted my workout under the BB.com workout tracker on my body space. The workout tracker has been a great tool for me to track my routines and progress. The change of scenery and facility were welcomed, but “there’s no place like home”. I will be back at 24 HR Fitness in Texas Friday. Well that’s all for now. Focused & committed to living fit!

Today we celebrate freedom & independence in the United States of America. I am thankful for the liberties I enjoy. I want to thank members of the military (past & present) and their families for the sacrifices they make to insure our freedom. May you be blessed with good health, love, joy & prosperity in your lives!

Happy Father’s Day!
I had a great week. I made a few adjustments to my diet 7 days ago. I also added 30 minutes of moderate cardio at the end of each resistance workout. I’m feeling great and I’ve received quite a few positive comments on my physique. I appreciate the comments, but I’m still no where near my goals yet. The comments do let me know I’m headed in the right direction and that fuels my fire. I’m committed to drive my body fat percentage down and lean muscle mass up. It’s down to dedication, consistency and diet at this point in my training. Well that’s all for now. Best wishes to all my fitness comrades here at BB.com.

This has been a good week. I’m feeling real good after adjusting my diet and exercise program. I think I will see visible results real soon. I added 30 minutes of cardio to the end of each resistance workout. I also moved to a two on one off, two on two off routine. That day off in the middle truly makes a difference in my recovery and strength. Commitment, work, diet and rest will produce desired results.

Workouts have been going great. I guess I have work to do on my diet and cardio. I’m not happy with my percentage of body fat (27%). I moved from 25% to 23% and now I’m at 27% with a goal of 15%. I weigh 210 lbs with a goal of 200 lbs. This just tells me I need to make adjustments and work harder. Nobody said transition would be easy. I’ve already started to adjust my workouts to include 20 minutes of cardio after my resistance training. I hope to keep my workouts around 90 minutes per session. I will being working on my diet. Well that’s all for now. The plan has been stated, now it’s time to execute.

I had a great week. All five of my workouts went very well. I’m looking forward to two days of rest, so I can come back strong next week. I’ve been getting quite a few compliments at work that let me know I’m making progress. I’m sure I’m gaining lean muscle mass because my weight hasn’t changed and everybody thinks I’m loosing weight. I’m eating six clean meals a day and feeling great. I will continue on my fitness journey. I wish you all the best and have a great holiday!

I had a good workout today. I completed a 20 minute stability ball routine, 30 minutes of cardio on the tread mill and 20 minutes of abs/oblique work. Chest, shoulders and triceps are on tomorrow’s menu. May has been a good month so far. I missed working out the entire month of April due to an injury. Twenty days into May and I’ve completed 15 workouts. I’m eating clean and feel great. Now it’s just a matter of time and I should be hitting my targeted goals. Wishing all continued success on the fitness journey!

Workouts are going extremely well. I have recovered from my injury and I’m working hard to get on track to achieve my goals (increase muscle mass & reduce BF to 15%). I’m consistently fine tuning my diet, eating healthy and frequently (every 3 hours). I feel it’s just a matter of time now, the transformation I’m seeking doesn’t happen overnight. I am committed and determined. Thanks to all of you on this site that share your journey and experiences. May the force be with us!!!!
