Yea, thats me. I have been kind of self pitying lately. My ex is finding another way to torture me….with the help of his lawyer. I refused to drop the price of our house 15k and agreed to 5, so now he wants to drag me to court and hold me in contempt. He’s an ******* who handed me a "bill" a couple months ago stating I owe him $78,000 after the sale of the house! So, everytime he reduces the price, he THINKS I am going to end up owing him about 50,000 out my own pocket. His last words to me were, "I won’t stop until I see you and those kids living on the streets and when you do, I am going to take Sam away from you (he’s my youngest)". So, thats what I have been living with for 3 years. I would die before I will pay that chauvinistic, cruel pig a dime. This "man" like to punch me in the leg while he was driving, pinch me until I screamed, bend my thumb back, told me he dated better looking women than me, pointed out everything he was better at, pointed to his food when he wanted more at the dinner table without speaking, treated my kids like shit and called them stupid……….asswipe. BUT, you know what? I left him……..and he hates that. I hope he dies alone because he’s evil and miserable.
So, when you think your life is in the shitter and sometimes your life IS in the shitter, just remember that it could be worse. You could be married to my ex husband who once tore apart a turkey (alive) with his bare hands and strangled kittens that were found on his fathers property.
Some people keep you from seeing the sunshine, but when their shadow is gone…………..you will once again grow.

And people wonder why I say I am so lucky that my ex, and daughters father, has not been in the picture since 01/1999. Im sorry you are dealing with that crap. You are too good of a person to have to deal with that crap.

Wow…thank you for posting that. I’ve been feeling miserable and sorry for myself lately, and that just put things in persepctive for me. Congrats on having the strength to walk away!

I can’t believe someone like that exists. Like freekgirl, I’ve felt really shitty about things too - but that DOES put it in perspective. Thank God you are OK and got out and didn’t put up with that crap. I hope you never listen to a word he says because you’re beautiful, smart, strong, compassionate, and strong-willed. You’re too good for that. I’m glad your life has turned around and you’re doing YOU, making yourself happy, and keeping him away. Congratulations!!

I’m so glad you left his sorry butt! And what comes around goes around. You and your children didn’t deserve that. Me, my sister, and mother have been through relationships like that and once you get away it makes you so much stronger. I would NEVER put up with that kind of crap again! You are a great example to many women who feel scared and trapped. Remember, God is on your side, he’s watching over you and your children. Everything will work out, just believe it in your heart! And keep shining!!!

Fern, I’m so sorry that you were exposed to such a mean ugly person - dont give him anymore power by reacting to his threats - just laugh at him - like you would at a clown - better days are ahead for you and your angels sweet friend - you are going to get all the big breaks you deserve, just believe. I’ve never understood people like your ex-husband. In fact anyone for that matter which are so bitter and mean. Good luck with all getting as much distance between you and him as possible.

Fern, I am reminded of a tv show I saw a long time ago where this huge detective cop finds out a bully from when he was a kid lives in his territory. At the end of the show he finds out the guy’s address and goes to beat the effin crap out of him. But when the loser opens the door, the cop sees him and realizes the loser already got what he deserved: he’s a loser in life. I’d love to beat the effin crap out of your ex’s brains. But you know what? His brains are already beaten up. What normal man would give up someone like you!!! And remember, while I know it sounds proverbial, even Jesus they put on a cross. And I thought my ex was bad … Fern you rose above, and you should be very proud of yourself. As far as the threats take good notes, that’s what I did. My ex wound up giving me 80% custody and owes me $$$. Karma is a real B@#ch…!!!
