Just a thought

m_8477db5e82105bf7551ba9b8b7a510e6.jpgman I am making a dorky face!!

I tend to think too much actually.  So, I was sitting in my car watching some squirrels in the park, a lady walking her dog and kinda thinking “animals aren’t fat”, “animals are only fat when fed by people”.  SO, what does this tell us?  People are not too bright.  All you really have to do to know what to eat is look at animals.  They don’t normally eat what they don’t require.  Okay, domesticated animals often do though, like the damn trash and eggshells and a pair of pantyhose…….oh, and the dog I had who ate the length of christmas garland that was hanging out of his butt while he ran back and forth……….heheeeee…..gross but true.

Wild animals eat what they need.  Canines and other carnivores eat lots of proteins, herbivores eat all veggies, both are lean unless they live in a climate that requires fat storage for warmth or hibernation (or a huge fat walrus).  So, that leads me to believe people are “fatter” up North, particularly in the winter.  Although we wear clothes, it isnt so necessary to bulk up, it may be mental.  Besides that, no one sees your fat stores in a bulky sweater.

So, in a nutshell….think like an animal.  If they aren’t eating alfredo noodles, chances are..you shouldn’t either.  Did you ever see a deer ordering a large pizza?  Ya ya, you can eat it on your cheat day.  Thats why its called a cheat day.

Im just wondering how carnivores get their carbs.  You need a certain amount to have brain function and energy and although they are animals, do they require less?  I know they will eat grass sometimes.  Is there carbs in grass?  See, I am kind of a kook who thinks far too much.  I’m a googler……..have question, will google.

I didnt train tonight.  My legs and butt are killing me from yesterday and I was slacking on my fluid intake and surmised I had a dehydration headache at work. Even my body hurt……it was weird.  I dehydrate easily.  All I have to do is pinch the back of my hand and if it is slow to react, I am not taking in enough water.  Tomorrow I will be  banging out some chest and tris for sure. …plus more posing from the geek squad.

Oh hooray for random thoughts! My cat wasn’t fat until I got him fixed. Bye bye testosterone and hello poofy kitty!

I also dehydrate easily, and those headaches are worse than migraines.

Ok Fernanator….Enough with the comments about your dorky faces..your awesome…your friends all know it :) I didn’t find the animal commentary wierd at all….actually I have been thinking about hunter gathers myself….catch this..was reading this book about peoples fitness levels today versus when we had to hunt and gather our food. You never saw any fat hunter gatherer people back then. It wasn’t because they couldn’t find food it was because tey were som much more active then us today. The book argued that even if we took the most active person in todays world we would only be 30% as active as they were back then. Kinda interesting when I think about saying Im too tired to work out :) Anyway enjoyed your blog…and your thoughts
