Tonight I kind of "puttered" in the gym. I did a little shoulders, a little abs, and some calves. I have already done upper body this week and legs is on sunday, so this was just a night to go get some basic exercise. I did cardio too. I want to drop about 5lbs for the Olympia. Just to get my legs to come in a little better, as well as the old abs. I still have the belly button area pooch, even if you guys can’t see it. I’m lined up for a few pictures and I’d rather not make an ass of myself showing up squishy around the hardbodies.
I’m still on the Gaspari. it has been a couple weeks. Katnap is blogging them too, so if you want the nutritional values and the inside scoop on whats in the stuff we are taking(Intrapro, Superpump250 and sizeOn) jump on over to her blog! I can only tell you the basics on taste, performance, etc. I am used to the superpump250. I work out at night after working a fulltime job. My day starts at 530am and ends after 1130 on any given day. I guess I will sleep when I am dead. Take the SP250 pre workout. I have raspberry, it’s tart, fizzy and by the time you get 10 mins into your workout, you forget you have been burnt out and awake too long. After 2 weeks on the Sizeon, well, I am a chick,so size is not easy. besides that, I am not eating a bulking type diet, BUT My muscles do appear fuller, especially after a workout. The size of my bi’s has not changed, but thats okay because I have less fat on them and they are still the same size…this MEANS, bigger muscles and growth. Lets see what happens after my November show and some good wintertime eating and heavy lifting with the sizeon as a supp. My favorite flavor of the protein powder is (Gasparis Intrapro) is currently vanilla. If you are mixing with water, use less water and the thicker consistancy is more pleasant. I want to try the chocolate next. WOMEN need workout supplements. In order to increase the effiency of your workouts with increased energy, increased oxygen delivery to the muscles and the need for extra protein to aid in weight loss and muscle growth. Supplements are not just for "bodybuilders". You are supplementing your body because you are trying to change it and are asking alot of it, so give it a hand, will ya?
My day has improved. I had decent news. I have been contacted by several members here to hook up in Vegas……you guys are great!!! You know how it is when your moving along very well and someone just has to throw a stick in your spokes… One of the best (albeit corny) lines I have ever heard was "be like buckwheat, it bends but it does not break"……

My friend bailed on me…..he says I don’t need him because I already have things lined up (interviews , pictures, meet and greet stuff I suppose) but I did need him. Crap, I am having a bad day. I had bad news, my 1st crying jag in 4 months, you know how some days the crap in your life just seems a little deeper than usual? My craps hovering right below my nose………….any higher and I won’t be able to breathe.

I know I have been slacking here, but I have a few new things in the works. I am going to the Olympia in Vegas next month!! I have never been to Vegas, never traveled alone and have only been on a plane to and from Florida. I think it’s time for me to step out of the box and try something new. I’m scared crapless of course. Anyone else here going?

Let’s see …….the basics…..I am becoming a big dropset fan. I think I have a patellar ligament strain, so no heavy and no real deep squats. My basis is not how many reps I do, but shoot for 12-15. Lets say I am on leg extensions (this is after a full, light weight fast workout/sets hitting every machine in the gym or free weights I can get my hands on for the particular training target of the day) I will drop on 95 lbs for 10-12 reps, drop down to the next notch and bang out the same and continue until you hit the lightest weight ,mass reps (cus they are easier) or even 1 leg at a time at that weight. I also mix it up with toes in/toes out for maximum efficiency. I will sometimes hit certain machines or exercises 3 times, depending on the bodypart. I rotate with hams/quads on legs day. This allows me to rest one area while working another and have less "downtime". Its easier on back/lats/traps and bis day, trust me. I do also split hams and quads, but thats something I recently started, but I am a little backed up in my schedule at the moment.
I do the same drop sets for curls laying and seated. I do squats on the smith machine as well as free standing squats. The knee thing is preventing me from maxing weight, so I am sticking at 85, for 15-20 reps , about 6 consecutive sets. I also have a new method of laying on the bench under the smith and doing single leg presses. About 100 lbs per leg. I scared a guy yesterday, he said he was impressed and wouldnt mess with me…..hehee, funny because I have seen this guy for over a year and this is the first time he talked to me EVER. See, ya gotta go gangbusters and guys will be like, "this chick is nuts, better move when she sits near me"!!! Maybe I will grab one of them one day who looks at me funny,get them in a headlock and start screaming, "who’s you mommy? Who’s your Mommy??!!!" Be-otch?!!! Jst kidding, but damn, that WOULD be funny……..
So, I did my cable kickbacks and my glute isolation machine. Somehow, I totally missed romanian dead lifts. I love those things, but I was not in the best mood, I had things to do and time ran short. What can I say…..besides my buttocks are sore? So, it’s all good.
I posted a new back pose progress picture. I was down until I did because I was thinking things weren’t working but I think I have improvements. I think my shoulders are bigger. I have been on the Gaspari for about 2 weeks and am impressed! I knew the Intrapro and the SizeOn are not immediate, but time I do believe I am seeing results! The Superpump250 is IMMEDIATE. I’m a vascularity lover and this stuff helps you become the roadmap of your dreams!! Squat til ya puke…….oh and hopefully someone else can clean..I have a weak stomach……….
One more thing. I viewed my 1st video. Richard emailed it to me. I guess I am pretty goofy, but hey, I make ME laugh and hopefully someone is going to say, "man, if that dork can take it to the next level, so can I!"

I am officially MsFitness, no longer MsFitness68 due to my video series titled ,"Getting Hardcore With MsFitness". I get to act like the goober I am in them too! No directors, just me and really bad lighting. I taped alot of stuff, some a little tentative, but as we go along, hopefully, I can really get into how you really have to dig deep, sweat, grunt and breathe like you are giving birth. Except for the guys, they just have to act constipated. Remeber, the fittest people in the gym usually have "swamp ass" when they leave….heheheee
Ill be on later to do a Gaspari eval later. You all rock and thanks for your support when I am the throes of self doubt.

I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. I have to do a little soul searching I suppose. I had a good workout leg yesterday, but have a strained patella ligament (I think), so no more going heavy until it’s healed. I’ll be going to the O if it kills me……..

I am not seeing the changes I want to see right now. I am stuck in a period of "too lean" you can’t see it in my pictures (crappy camera with a too bright flash washes out detail)but I think I am too small. I just got an Oxygen magazine and I am not even close to the volume these women have! Today I am certainly humbled. Then I went to some guys page on myspace and it seems like everyone has professional pictures. I can’t compete with that. I guess we all have our days of self doubt, today is mine. I’m sure I will come around eventually. I will post when I am not so grouchy I guess. I’m going to go do legs now.

I am a bit dissapointed in my current physique. I know what you are going to say…..what? Maybe it’s just working out with all they guys? Everyone has more physical presence than I do. My weight went down, I am about 116-117 this morning. Last week of comp diet is a 5 lb loss, that would leave me at 112. What the Hell? I’m going to be a ripped stringbean….yeah, great for fitness modeling and stuff, but I still have 12 weeks to go! My ass is going to dissapear. I had to drop cardio and I wasn’t even doing it much. Yes, I am bitching.
I did shoulders again. I taped a home workout segment, but still wanted to hit the weights. I did back, bi’s lats and traps last night, so my body was a little sore, but it went okay today. 85 lb shoulder presses are getting easier actually. Tomorrow is legs. My schedule got all screwed up this week, so I didn’t do hams seperately. I will do them tomorrow I guess. I am just flying by the seat of my pants lately.
I do want to see if I can get a little bigger in the next few weeks though. I am adding a littlemore carbs to my diet.

The latest word is that they are putting on the finishing touches. I emailed them some photos and a bio today. I hope I don’t sound like an idiot. I am just a chick in the gym, not a professional of any kind, except for being a dental professional that is. I know my incisors, bicuspids and how to do root canals and fillings. I know how to send people to collections, but I never call them and tell them this or ask them for money, I am a wuss and I mail them a letter. So, if I look like a TOOL in these videos, it’s only because I am a TOOL in person.hehheee
I did back, bis and lats. I got 30 lb db for 1 rep!!! Okay, I can do 25 for 6 now, so I figured I weould give a 30 a whack. Okay, 1 rep, but its a start. I tried some new bars for lat pull downs, used the one with the handles. I saw Ms Brant use it in her video. There was me and 2 guys in the whole gym, so I was all over the place. I managed to cable row 110 lbs, db row 40’s and shrugs 45’s. I didnt have a tremendous amount of energy tonight. I was kinda wanting a nap and didn’t get in there til about 830pm, so everything was kind of rushed.
Tomorrow I am going to start some videos of home workouts. What I might do if I couldn’t actually go to a real gym. I’m lucky with that. Lots of people hae no time. This is like a 2nd job to me. I work 8 1/2 hours, come home and have dinner, hang out with the kiddies and off to the gym. I take 2 weeknights off as weekends are easier and I can take my time. I am going to try to think of an exercise for ever body part from head to toe. Arms,shoulders,lats,abs,legs,calves, you name it. It CAN be dome with barbells, dumbbells, a mat and a chair or bench. I know the home motivation isn’t easy and most people’s treadmills become clothes hangers. I know the whole cardio thing is a sore spot with many people. Either you like it or you don’t. Some people NEED to do it, others, not so much. I pretty much got lean without it and you may have some success with that method too. I tend to superset and it seems to be kind of like the HIIT programs some people rave about. Just take a little bit from every person you talk to and learn what works for you. NO ONE is going to be 100% right about anything they tell you will work for you, including me. I do know I am right about you not looking any kind of masculine because of weight lifting. I lift hard and heavy 5 times a week and I am still a tiny thing. I may be ripped, but I have 12 inch biceps and weigh about 119 lbs right now at 5′3". Even a powerlifting woman may look big because they use bodyweight to gain strength. you are not quite as strong when you get leaner, this takes time. man, I am wordy tonight!!!
