Back in the gym!
12 days post surgery and I am feeling really good! Off the pain meds now, still taking the muscle relaxers at night so i don’t tense up too much in the pec area…. I hit the gym on Monday for Shoulders/Abs/Calves and some cardio. Had a great workout even since I only lifted 50% intensity.. I did high reps and was SORE yesterday! Actually, I am still sore today!! Last night was bi/tri night with some SS cardio on the recumbent bike.. GOSH! i hate that recumbent bike, so freakin boring! My bi/tri workout looked like this:
Skullcrushers- 20lb bar- 4 sets 20 reps
Tri kickbacks- 10lb weight- 4 sets 15
Vups- supersetted between tri/bi supersets
Bicep curls- 4 sets 15- 12.5 lbs
bicep bar curl- 4 sets 15- 20lb bar
did some 21’s with 10 lb. weight- to failure.. about 5 sets- really burned it up!!!
Rope tri pressdowns- 30lbs- 4 sets 15
bicep rope hammer curls- 20 lbs- 4 sets 12
Did some oblique machine twists- 20 lbs- to failure- 3 sets
25 min. on recumbent bike- hills level 8
Felt GREAT after and I am sore today! mostly my biceps.. I am really liking those 21’s- BURNING it up really helps them to pop!
I got on facebook yesterday (my kiddo said that everyone is on it so I should too!)- I got in touch with tons of people from Highschool. CRAZY!!!! How fun! Now I am addicted! :0
