Entry 5- LONG Day….

Had a really long, hard day at work today.  VERY hard to get out of the office at a decent hour to beat the gym rush.  Made it and slammed the Superpump, sucked it up and got to work!  Today:  Back/Biceps/Abs..  I threw in some squats inbetween supersetting (back).  Pushed in some abs (Vups) inbetween Bi sets…  Jumped on the eliptical for 20 min. then bike for 10.. 

Was going to do a vid post but ran out of time!!!  I am working from home tomorrow so I get to hit the gym early!!  I have been so busy, haven’t tanned all week!  Gotta fit that in too!  I will be hanging by the pool this weekend for sure!

I am also down almost 3 pounds since a week of clean eating, SO excited!!!!

Entry 4- WOW do I feel great!

Hiya,

 I don’t know if it’s just wishfull thinking or this is supposed to happen?!?  I am on my 5th day of clean eating (zero processed foods or sugars) and I feel fantastic!  Lots of energy and I feel really healthy!  I am totally breaking out on my back, face, shoulders (I know, gross) and think it is from the bad stuff leaving my body… Not sure though!  Kicking up the cardio at the gym and back to doing sprints.  I have to keep it varied at least until I finish my Tri Race in a few weeks.  Cooked up some vegis tonite and some buffallo meat.  I don’t mess with the "cow" and haven’t touched red meat in over 6 years now.  I hope my tummy does not FREAK out!  Anyhew, I am on Rae’s diet now, It looks great and I am so ready!  It is about 1400 cals a day.  Gotta drop the fat before I build…

Entry 3- UGHHHH

UGHH. What a disappointment!  Got my BF tested and it is 28%.  I feel like such a PIG!  Guess I can’t expect to eat like crap for so long then snap my fingers and be lean huh?  I am using it as motivation, I will NEVER be like that again.  I am totally committed! 

 

Anyhew, I am going to try to update as much as possible.  I know I am not the only one who has made the commitment to get FIT, look GREAT and get HEALTHY!  Good luck to all of you and check back often!

Hiya folks. Ok, I have started video blogging so that is less time consuming- however I am totally sweaty and GROSS since I do this post workout… Lost my iPod today OF COURSE noone turned it in. Think I may have left it there last night. I took my son up there, he just messed around BUT he did do some cardio and bicep work. He’s 12 and I am really trying to expose him to a healty lifestyle. My parents just pushed pizza and TV… Anyhew, let me know your comments/thoughts/suggestions/ words of encouragement!

Today is my first blog post.  I made my meals for the week this morning:  Chicken (pulled); yams; broccoli…  I am one of those people who can easily eat the same thing over and over and not really get bored..  I just need convenience.  You know, when you are starving and there is NOTHING in the fridge or you have to cook you reach for crap food.  That is why my weight crept up on me..  Anyway, I am really looking forward to my "clean" life!  I do think that it needs some getting used to..  I am getting some headaches.  I am not sure WHAT I am doing w/ food combining/macros.  I did enlist Rae to help me with that, while she works it up, I am just winging it.  This morning I felt blahhh and almost blew off my workout.  Did the yard, took a nap, layed out by the pool for an hour and had some green tea.  Then got my big butt up and went to the gym.  I also took my son!  I am really trying to work with him too, it will be good for him to start a healthy lifestyle early!  We ran for a bit (15 minutes) then worked on biceps and abs.  Today was supposed to be my "off" training day but my biceps and abs always need work so no harm no foul right?  My hubby and I were arguing this morning and I guess that shot my mood into poop.  He is in Afghanastan and I miss him very much.  He is my workout buddy…  BUT I must press on.  His gym is in the middle of a desert so think how thankful we should all be!
