Frustration

So today was my first lower body day with the new equipment. I was really excited to get back to squatting and being able to really load on the weight. There’s only one problem… I couldn’t do that much! I am squatting just a tad more than I bench! I used to do over twice what I am squatting now!! :eek: I guess this is a product of having limited equipment. I’ve been restricted to squatting only what I could manage to lift up and over my head to get it on my shoulders.

It bugs the hell out of me. But, I know I have good muscle memory. Even after having not lifted for years, I gained strength back very quickly. So, I’ll try no to freak out for now. On the up side, I did have a good workout today… aside from being disappointed that I couldn’t squat as much as I once did. My legs and abs feel trembly now, which I love. :)
