First Entry

I have been working out at the gym off and on for three years. And no changes other than seeing little changes in my arms and or hips. But nothing to really get excited about.

My husband and I finally seen that this is really the time we need to change our life, fix our health and transform our bodies. He seen the P90X informercial and thought it would be a good start for us. So I found the program and we started it.

We are now on the beginning of week three and feel wonderful. Our first week our bodies were met with soreness beyond words, but we worked through it. We both are seeing changes in ourselves and feel so motivated and positive we are on the right track.

I think the biggest, most challenging part for me is nutrition and diet. We don’t eat bad. We don’t eat fried foods, pork, etc. For the most part, I try to cook with non-processed items. But I still wasn’t losing any weight. So this is my biggest challenge. We got the P90X nutrition guide and I have been following it. Which I think seems to be helping. Just following what it says on how much protein, carbs, etc on what to eat per day.

Mostly, I think the advantage in this has been doing this with my husband. We are keeping each other motivated and on track. That’s a wonderfull benefit.
So this is my first blog on bodybuilding.com and I just wanted to say how thankful I am to have found this site. I have indulged in the information and inspiration. I know I am in it to win it…and will not stop not even after I get there.
