I’m not a trainer but I play one on tv!!!
It’s a mixed blessing that you have people that come up to you and ask questions. It feels good because they think you know what you are doing. And you must look good for them to approach. But, not everyone is a trainer, some of us are trying to workout. So yea, ask as many questions you like but not when I am in the middle of a set. Some people say ignore them till you are done, but that’s not fair you don’t want to be a jerk. It’s just that sometimes you want to just get through your workout. So people am I wrong????

You’re right on the money. Do people really try to ask you questions while you’re in the middle of a set? Can you say rude? Clueless?
My mp3 player is a help……I have it on during my entire workout. Whether lifting or doing cardio. It helps me zone in & tune others out. I don’t intend to be rude or stand-offish. I just have a very limited window of time to get my full workout in. Perhaps that keeps them from asking questions. But at 5-5:30am gym time, I find that most of the gym crowd seem to know what they’re doing.
